Today we’d like to introduce you to Michael Bass, Dania Murdock And Robert Murdock
Hi Michael, Dania, and Robert, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Our story started with spirits! We have been friends for over 20 years, we worked together and remained solid. Michael aka “Tequila” had decided he wanted to venture into the podcast realm, possibly doing something regarding his professional career in safety,. He then threw out an idea to the other “squad members” Dania aka “The Girl” and Rob aka “Cognac” to podcast together. We talked about it and decided we are kind of hilarious and we have different views but still can talk and come together and that is how “Cognac, Tequila and The Girl” came to fruition. With media flooded with podcasts and social media, it was a scary venture, but we knew we had a great thing and a great genuine dynamic that we can be authentic and represent not only ourselves but H-town which we hold near and dear! We genuinely appreciate our family, friends and fans and are excited to keep going! We’ve got spirit, yes we do, we’ve got spirit how about you?
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The road has been under construction, much like Houston roads, ha. As in life, we have turbulence and struggles (please see most “Current Events” episodes!) We are committed to seeing this through and look forward to advertising and all of the other fun and exciting things to come.

Mike “Tequila”- Experienced Health, Safety and Environmental Professional, he has also worked in various industries
Rob “Cognac”- Director of Operation in the Wine and Spirits Industry
Nia “The Girl”- Executive Administrative Assistant, and Fashionista
Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
Mike “Tequila”- Being there for the people that need me, I don’t know why it makes me happy but it does. Also, Tequila and Mezcal.
Rob “Cognac”- My family, especially my niece. It’s exciting to see my family do well, and watching my niece grow up and be an amazing little girl is a perk.
Dania “The Girl”- My family and framily hands down. I also find happiness in being a woman who is respected!
