Hi Estefania, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started off wanting to do makeup simply because I really loved it, and from the start, I knew I wanted to be a professional Makeup Artist. Taking my first classes was intimidating—I wanted to be great right away, but I quickly learned that success takes time. What my journey has taught me is that practice truly makes perfect. I’ve put in countless hours of hard work, gained invaluable experience, and ultimately found my signature style—an elegant, polished glam that enhances natural beauty. Now, I’m proud to offer private classes, whether it’s for individuals who want to master doing their own makeup or for new and established artists looking to refine their skills. It’s been a rewarding road, and I’m excited to share what I’ve learned with others.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. One of my biggest struggles was finding my signature glam and figuring out how I fit into the makeup world. For a while, I felt pressured to follow trends and fit into a specific mold, but I quickly realized that I didn’t have to. Instead, I focused on carving out my own path and developing a style that felt true to me. That decision—to stop trying to fit in and instead embrace my individuality—was the best one I ever made. It not only gave me confidence as an artist but also allowed me to build a business I’m genuinely proud of.

Im currently part of an amazing team called Sketchd Studios, where we’re all growing together as artists. Our team leader fosters a space for creativity, which has allowed me to continue developing my signature glam while also exploring new techniques and styles. Being part of this team has opened me up as an artist, helping me expand my skills and perspective. Right now, my focus is on making women feel beautiful and comfortable in their own skin using makeup. It’s about enhancing what’s already there, helping clients feel confident, radiant, and like the best version of themselves
Do you have any advice for those looking to network or find a mentor?
My advice on finding a mentor is to look for someone whose work inspires you but also someone who truly values growth and creativity. A good mentor isn’t just there to teach technique—they guide you in finding your own voice as an artist. It’s important to be open-minded, willing to learn, and to seek out environments that challenge you. For me, being part of a supportive team like Sketch Studios has been invaluable because it allows me to learn from different perspectives while staying true to my own style. Ultimately, the best mentor is someone who not only helps you sharpen your skills but also encourages you to take risks and trust in your unique journey.
