Rising Stars: Meet Christina Lapina of Houston

Today we’d like to introduce you to Christina Lapina

Hi Christina, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My name is Christina. I am 34 years old and I am from Ukraine. I am a UGC Creator, UGC Coach and Blogger. I came to the USA (Texas, Houston) 5 years ago. Like any immigrant, I faced difficulties in finding a job. My English was far from perfect, everything was closed due to Covid, and I was confused, not knowing how to move forward. At first, I had a cooking blog because I love culinary , but it wasn’t successful. Then, I came across a girl who was talking about UGC, and I became interested in it.

I was pregnant and looking for a job from home and wanted to develop creatively. And I did! During this time, I have completed hundreds of collaborations. I became the official ambassador for famous brands such as “Victoria’s Secret” and “Pink”. I work with “Estée Lauder”, “Clinique”, “Häagen-Dazs”, and “Netflix”.

Using my knowledge and experience, I created my own course, so I teach dozens of women how to work with brands.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
When I started my journey, I faced many problems. I didn’t know English well, so it was difficult for me to find information about how UGC works. After the birth of my daughter, I had no free time to learn about UGC, study the market, search for clients, or even create a beautiful portfolio. I also really wanted to help other women, so I decided to write a course, but it took a lot of time. All of this had to be done at night when the whole family was sleeping. I was very tired, but I was motivated by my successes.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
As a UGC (User-Generated Content) creator, I help brands promote their products and services by creating engaging content such as photos and videos. Brands pay me for my work, and I take great pride in contributing to their marketing strategies. I am particularly proud of my recent major collaborations, which have been highly successful, as well as the achievements of my students. Watching them grow and succeed in their own journeys is incredibly rewarding. In my work, I do more than just create content for brands. I become an integral part of their team, carefully analyzing their needs, understanding their target audience, and identifying potential competitive advantages. This comprehensive approach ensures that the content I create is not only visually appealing but also aligned with the brand’s overall strategy, helping them stand out in a crowded market.

Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
I consider myself to be a very simple and open person. I find happiness in the small, everyday moments that many people may overlook. Whether it’s the feeling of the warm sun on my face during a sunny day, savoring a cup of delicious coffee, or receiving a sweet chocolate bar from my husband, these little things bring me genuine joy. However, my happiness doesn’t only come from the simple pleasures of life. I also take great pride in the more meaningful milestones and achievements that come my way. Watching my little girl grow and accomplish new things fills me with pride. Securing new contracts and seeing the progress and success of my students are other sources of fulfillment in my life. It’s a beautiful balance of appreciating both the small joys and the bigger accomplishments that make life truly special.”
