Today we’d like to introduce you to Mikaeli Myers
Hi Mikaeli, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
From a young age, I always knew I was meant to build something of my own. I had a creative and entrepreneurial mind that constantly sought new ideas, new opportunities, and new ways to bring people together. Whether it was dreaming up business ventures as a kid or finding creative outlets through storytelling and design, I’ve always had a passion for both creativity and strategy.
That passion led me to social media—not just as a platform, but as a tool for connection, influence, and empowerment. I saw firsthand how a strong social media presence could transform a brand, amplify voices, and create real opportunities. However, I also saw many businesses struggling to keep up, missing out on their full potential simply because they didn’t have the time or knowledge to use social media effectively. That’s when I knew I had found my purpose.
I launched MPWR Social Club with the mission of empowering businesses and individuals through social media. It wasn’t just about creating content—it was about giving businesses the tools and confidence to show up, stand out, and grow. I wanted to build a company that not only provided strategy and creative execution but also educated and uplifted our clients, making them feel seen, valued, and heard.
The journey hasn’t been without challenges, but every step has reinforced why I started. I’ve had the opportunity to work with incredible brands and entrepreneurs, helping them turn their visions into reality. And as MPWR Social Club continues to grow, so does my commitment to our core values: creativity, authenticity, and most importantly, empowerment.
I truly believe social media is one of the most powerful tools of our time. It can open doors, build relationships, and change lives. And for me, there is nothing more fulfilling than helping others harness that power to create something incredible.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
In the beginning, I poured everything into my business—time, energy, and creativity—often at the expense of my own well-being. I took on every opportunity that came my way, afraid to say no, and constantly overextended myself trying to please every client. But I quickly learned that operating without boundaries wasn’t sustainable.
One of the hardest lessons I faced was losing clients, especially in the early stages when every dollar mattered. There were times when I questioned if I was doing the right thing, if I was good enough, or if I would ever reach the level of success I had envisioned. Some months, I struggled to make ends meet, and the uncertainty of entrepreneurship weighed heavily on me.
But through those challenges, I learned some of the most valuable lessons of my career. I realized that not every client is meant to stay, and losing one often made space for something even better. I learned that setting boundaries—both with clients and myself—wasn’t just necessary, it was empowering. And most importantly, I learned to know my worth.
Once I embraced the power of saying no to the wrong opportunities and yes to the right ones, everything changed. I stopped undervaluing my services, started prioritizing clients who truly aligned with my vision, and found the freedom to create in a way that truly lit me up.
Now, I not only run a business that I’m proud of, but I also live a life that reflects my passions and values. MPWR Social Club is built on the idea of empowerment, and that includes empowering myself, too. The challenges I’ve faced have shaped me into a stronger business owner, a more confident leader, and someone who truly understands the power of resilience.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
At MPWR Social Club, we don’t just manage social media—we empower businesses to harness its full potential. We specialize in social media management, content creation, website design, and wedding content creation, helping brands and entrepreneurs build a strong, authentic, and engaging online presence.
What sets us apart is our personalized, strategic, and creative approach. We don’t believe in cookie-cutter content. Instead, we take the time to understand each client’s unique brand, voice, and audience to create content that not only looks great but also drives real engagement and results. Whether it’s crafting compelling social media strategies, designing visually stunning websites, or capturing behind-the-scenes moments that tell a brand’s story, we ensure every piece of content serves a purpose.
One thing I’m most proud of is how MPWR Social Club has become more than just a service—it’s a brand built on empowerment. From the start, my mission has been to help businesses and individuals show up with confidence online. Social media can be overwhelming, but we make it stress-free, fun, and effective for our clients. We want them to feel seen, heard, and celebrated—because when they thrive, so do we.
What do you like and dislike about the city?
One of the things I love most about Houston is its energy and diversity. The city is filled with driven entrepreneurs, creatives, and business owners who are passionate about what they do. There’s a real sense of community and opportunity, which makes it an incredible place to build a business. Plus, Houston’s food scene is unmatched—you can find everything from incredible Tex-Mex to world-class fine dining, and I’m always discovering new spots.
What I like least? The traffic! Houston is such a sprawling city, and getting from one side to the other can feel like a full-time job. But even with the long commutes, I wouldn’t trade Houston’s opportunities and vibrant culture for anything.
