Today we’d like to introduce you to Gabriel Gomez
Gabriel , we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
since I was a very small child,I’ve always loved to listen to music that my dad or mom would have in the car, when we would go somewhere. My dad would listen to Bob Marley or the Doors when we would go fishing and I would sing along with him and have fun.My mom would listen to Smokey Roberson and or something from the 80’s that would pop and I would like the chorus or the lyrics of the artist was singing, on the way to school. So since then I’ve been hearing and listening to all kinds of music from the time I started middle school through high school years. I’ve been digging deeper to wear now I’m making beats, writing my own lyrics and putting out my own music.Plus I’m going to a school to be a recording artist at (Mediatech Institute Online) and I also have a very good friend as my mentor ($TYLJA aka Daraja Hakizimana) that been helping me and guiding me though everything that I have questions about.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I’ve had a couple of bumps on the road and I’m sure most people or artists due in their own way, for one I was misled on what I wanted to be as far as in life and the music business. I need more patience and practice when creating a beat or writing down lyrics for the song. For me I just need to dive into it more than I was doing before and go my own way instead of following or having a person control my artistry when I just want to be free with my creativity.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I produce my own beats and write my own lyrics to my beats, I set myself with high intentions when making or producing music. I want the best sounds and quality recording when working with myself or an artist or band. I try to set a peaceful environment when creating or working in the studio.
If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
I would say patience and practice would be the most quality I can pull from myself. the other is how to work with an artist or band and make them feel comfortable to get the best outta them when working.
