Born and raised in the vibrant city of Houston, Stevie B is a true native of the Houston Heights. With almost three decades of experience in the skincare, spa, and wellness industry, Stevie has become a renowned figure in the field.
For decades, Stevie has dedicated her career to being a licensed holistic esthetician, delving deep into the art of skincare and its profound connection to overall well-being. Her expertise extends beyond the surface, as she addresses not only the skin but also considers the individual’s lifestyle, internal well-being, and environmental factors.
What sets Stevie apart is her unique approach to skincare. As the original holistic esthetician in the Houston Heights, she understands the importance of treating the skin as part of a holistic lifestyle. Working in tandem with Heights of Health, Houston’s premier Naturopathic Clinic, Stevie combines her expertise with the clinic’s wellness offerings to provide a comprehensive and harmonious approach to skincare.
She is currently also working on acquiring her license to be a Holistic Healthcare Practitioner.
Stevie’s commitment to using only the highest-quality ingredients is evident in her selection of products. She avoids artificial fragrances, petroleum-derived ingredients, and endocrine disruptors, ensuring that her clients receive only the best for their skin. Her focus lies in rebuilding the skin’s barrier and reducing inflammation, believing in the power of gentle and effective treatments.
With an impressive list of qualifications, including a CIDESCO diploma, Stevie’s dedication to her craft is unwavering. Her extensive experience as an International Education Director for notable European and US brands, a formulator, reiki practitioner, guided meditation facilitator, herbalist, aromatherapist all combined with her knowledge as an esthetician and massage therapist, further solidifies her expertise in the skincare world. Her passion for continuous learning and improvement shines through in her commitment to staying at the forefront of industry trends but honoring the tried and true natural approach.
The challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic prompted Stevie to adapt and innovate. Although she had to temporarily close her 3,000 square foot retreat on Heights Blvd, she used the time to perfect her formulations and collaborate with chemists to ensure the safety and effectiveness of her products. Incorporating practices such as reiki, breathwork, and MBSR, Stevie emphasizes the mind-body connection in her skincare practice, providing a holistic experience for her clients.
Recently married and having opened a second location in the Woodlands, Stevie’s heart remains firmly rooted in the Heights. Her skincare studio, Heights Skincare, and her skincare collection, Urban Alchemy Lab, embody her mission to bring the heart of plant medicine to her clients with love.
