Exploring Life & Business with Tara Le of Le Esthetics Facial Bar

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tara Le.

Hi Tara, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
It all started when I was a little girl. I’ve always had a deep love for beauty and anything facial-related. During sleepovers, I’d be the one giving all my friends mini facials, applying masks, and doing all the skincare treatments. I absolutely fell in love with the process and how it made people feel. As I got older, that passion stayed with me and naturally led me to pursue a career as an esthetician.

During the Covid era, I went through a period where I really started to doubt my skills and question if this path was right for me. Like many others, the uncertainty made me feel lost. But I truly believe that when something is meant for you, it’ll always find its way back—and that’s exactly what happened. My love for skincare and helping people feel good in their skin pulled me right back in.

I worked under someone for about a year, learning and growing, but eventually felt the calling to go out on my own. I opened up my own solo suite, which gave me the freedom to do things my way and create a special, welcoming space for treatments. I couldn’t be happier with how far I’ve come, and it’s all thanks to my amazing clients who continue to trust me with their skin.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. Going to esthetician school is all fun and games—you’re learning, you’re passionate, and it feels exciting. But once you graduate, it’s kind of like you’re in the dark. No one’s really there to show you what comes next. You have to figure it out, trust your gut, and make that calling your own.

There was a time I thought I might not even make it to graduation. I lost contact with my school and believed I would have to start all over again—repay tuition, redo my hours, and basically begin from scratch. On top of that, COVID had just hit, and like many others, I felt lost and unsure. I started to lose passion and really questioned if I should keep going. It felt like everything I had worked for might slip away.

But somehow, I found my way back. I got back in touch with my school and found out I could pick up where I left off instead of starting over. That saved me so much time, money, and stress. It was a huge relief and a major turning point. I realized then that what’s meant for you truly never misses you. I pushed through, got my license, and eventually opened my own business.

Looking back now, I’m so thankful for every detour, delay, and doubt I experienced along the way. They all led me exactly where I needed to be.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
