Daily Inspiration: Meet Sahar Shahzad

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sahar Shahzad.

Hi Sahar, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
It all started during the COVID-19 pandemic. Like many people, I found myself stuck at home with a lot of extra time on my hands. I had always enjoyed making content, but I never really took it seriously. The lockdowns gave me the chance to dive in and experiment with different styles. I created my TikTok account as a fun way to keep me busy, but soon I found myself getting hooked. I loved the creativity and the freedom the platform offered.

At first, it was just for fun—posting random videos, experimenting with trends, and trying to find my groove. But the more I got into it, the more I realized how much I enjoyed connecting with people through my content. The comedy skits I did helped me see that a lot of us were going through the same things, and it felt great to share that relatability. It wasn’t long before I started gaining a small following. I could see the potential in building something meaningful on TikTok.

Here I am today and it’s been an incredible journey. What started as a creative outlet during a tough time became a full-on passion. I’ve learned so much along the way—about content creation, about my audience, and about myself. The journey continues, and I’m excited to see where it goes from here!

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
– One of the biggest struggles I faced along the way was dealing with hate comments. No matter how much you love what you do, there’s always going to be someone out there with something negative to say. At first, it really got to me. I’d spend way too much time focusing on the negative feedback, letting it overshadow all the positive support I was getting.

It was hard not to take it personally, especially when you put so much of yourself into your content. But over time, I realized that most of those comments said more about the person leaving them than they did about me. I started focusing more on the people who appreciated my content and the positive messages I was getting.

It wasn’t easy, but learning to ignore the hate and not let it dictate my confidence was a huge step in my growth—not just as a creator, but as a person. I also started reminding myself that I can’t please everyone, and that’s okay. The most important thing is to stay true to who I am and keep creating for the people who enjoy it.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I’m known for creating content that blends comedy with lifestyle, fashion, and beauty. Whether I’m making people laugh with relatable skits or sharing the latest fashion trends, I always aim to connect with my audience in a way that feels authentic and fun. Comedy is at the heart of everything I do—finding humor in everyday situations is what keeps my content fresh and relatable.

I’m also passionate about clothing and beauty, and I love sharing style tips, beauty routines, and lifestyle inspiration with my followers. What sets me apart is my ability to mix humor with these topics, making even the most serious beauty or fashion advice feel lighthearted and approachable.

What I’m most proud of is how I’ve built a community around these passions. It’s not just about the content; it’s about creating a space where people can laugh, learn, and feel inspired. Seeing my audience connect with what I’m sharing is the ultimate reward.

What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
I’d say the most important quality to my success has been authenticity. Whether I’m creating comedy, beauty, or lifestyle content, I always stay true to myself. I believe people connect with content that feels real and genuine, so I make sure my personality shines through in everything I do. It’s not about trying to be perfect; it’s about being relatable, approachable, and letting my audience see the real me.

Creativity is also a huge part of my success. I’m always experimenting with new ideas and trying to bring something fresh to my audience. It’s important to stay inspired and continuously evolve, whether it’s by trying out new trends or exploring new ways to tell a story.
