Daily Inspiration: Meet Conswello Baker-Foster

Today we’d like to introduce you to Conswello Baker-Foster.

Hi Conswello, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
**Just a Little Girl from 5th Ward Texas** tells the remarkable journey of Conswello Baker Foster—her struggles, resilience, and transformation. Fifth Ward, Texas, is where it all began, a place shaped by deep-rooted stigmas and stereotypes that weighed heavily on its community. Through her story, readers embark on a powerful exploration of her life, witnessing how she unveils the mask she once wore.

The mask of shame, fear, silent suffering, depression, anxiety, abandonment, hurt, self-sabotage, insecurity, fornication, lack of self-worth, and unforgiveness—each layer is stripped away, revealing the strength within. The release of this book symbolizes her courage to confront fears, embrace vulnerability, and let go of anything hindering her progress.

Inspired by **Romans 8:1**—”There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit” (NIV)—her hope is that readers find peace, healing, restoration, faith, and a deeper connection with God (**2 Corinthians 5:7** [NIV]). As **James 5:16** (NKJV) reminds us, “Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.”

Never give up. Know that you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you (**Philippians 4:13** [NKJV]), and that you are more than a conqueror in Him (**Romans 8:37** [NKJV]).

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The journey to overcoming shame has been anything but easy. Along the way, I’ve faced challenges, yet I continue to move forward with purpose and determination. Like many others, it has often felt like a battle within myself—me versus me. The pursuit of success is never simple, but it is absolutely possible.

Through every obstacle, I have stayed the course, pushing forward even when my energy was depleted. There were moments when I was running on nothing but fumes, yet I made the choice to stand firm and press ahead. My belief remains unwavering: whatever you set your hands to, do it with all your strength and conviction.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am a Life Coach with a unique approach—I specialize in the “interior design” of a person. While this may not be a common way to describe personal development, my passion lies in helping individuals uncover what lies beneath their surface, revealing their true potential.

My most meaningful work comes from setting aside my own wants and needs to support others in their journey toward a better life. Success and fulfillment in one’s goals drive me, and I am honored to serve as both a sounding board and an accountability partner for those who entrust me with their growth.

I firmly believe that my purpose extends beyond myself—it is about advancing God’s Kingdom and contributing to a world where people can thrive and live with greater purpose and joy.

What does success mean to you?
Success as a Life Coach isn’t measured solely by accolades or numbers—it’s defined by the transformation and growth of the individuals you guide. It’s about helping others break through barriers, gain clarity, and step into their fullest potential. True success means witnessing clients find purpose, achieve their goals, and cultivate resilience in their personal and professional lives.

At its core, being a successful Life Coach is about empowering others—not by telling them what to do, but by helping them uncover the answers within themselves. It’s in the moments when someone realizes their own strength, when they heal, when they push past self-doubt, and when they take bold steps toward a future they once thought was unattainable.

Success is also deeply personal—it’s in the ability to create lasting impact, build meaningful connections, and serve with integrity. It’s knowing that your work contributes to a greater purpose, whether it’s fostering confidence, inspiring action, or helping someone deepen their faith.
