Hi Jorge, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Castro and I met at the previous barbershop where we both worked at. we worked there for about two years before we decided to go on our own and get a suite together. Started our own business in February of 2024 . We were able to create an atmosphere where clients can stop by for haircuts and relax and feel comfortable. A very friendly and family friendly environment.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
the transition has been great. our clientele has shown infinite support , from shouting us out on social media to referring family and friends to us. we are very thankful for everyone’s support.

Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
I wouldn’t be where I am today without the support of some key people.
My family and close friends have always had my back and encouraged me to keep going, even when things got tough. My loyal clients played a huge role too — many stuck with me from the start and helped spread the word.
I’ve also learned a lot from other barbers and mentors who shared advice and pushed me to level up. And I’m grateful to the local community for showing love and supporting the shop.
All of them have helped shape Corte de Oro into what it is today.
