Today we’d like to introduce you to Valerie Ramon.
Hi Valerie, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My business started with a spark… literally. I’ve always loved jewelry, accessories, and curating special moments. The idea of jewelry that feels intentional, like it’s meant to stay with you through every season immediately drew me in. When I discovered permanent jewelry, it felt like the perfect fit. I started by linking close friends and family, and that first clasp felt like magic. From there, it grew—slowly, then suddenly.
As a creative and a new mom, I wanted something that combined meaning, flexibility, and style. Permanent jewelry gave me that and more—it gave me a way to connect with people in a really intimate, celebratory way. Every link is like a little moment captured—birthdays, friendships, girlhood, relationships, intimate moments, you name it.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The last few years have been beautiful, but not without their chaos. Starting and growing a business is hard enough, but doing it while navigating life changes—like becoming a first-time mom—took things to a whole new level. There were moments where I felt completely overwhelmed trying to juggle my corporate job, being a newlywed, pregnancy and how to elevate the Everlinked experience consistently.
Then there’s the behind-the-scenes stuff people don’t always see—self-doubt, burnout, questioning if I was “doing enough” or “doing it right.” I’ve had to learn to give myself grace, pivot when things weren’t working, and trust that building something meaningful takes time. Through the last years, I found strength and community. I found a deeper reason to keep going.
Building this business has been personal. It’s taught me a lot about showing up consistently, trusting my intuition, and embracing my own version of success. I’m proud of how far I’ve come, and I’m even more excited about what’s ahead.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
Honestly? It’s the heart behind it. Yes, the jewelry is beautiful but it’s the experience that sets me apart. When people come to me, it’s not just to get linked. It’s to celebrate something. As a permanent jewelry artist, I create custom, clasp-free jewelry that’s welded directly onto the client—usually a bracelet, anklet, or necklace. It’s dainty, minimalist, and designed to be lived in. People come to me to mark special moments like friendships, anniversaries, personal milestones—or simply because they want something beautiful and effortless that lasts.
But beyond just welding pretty chains, I’m also running a full-on small business. That means I wear all the hats such as marketing, scheduling, inventory, bookkeeping, content creation… even lugging my setup to pop-ups and events. I manage every part of the experience from how clients find me on Instagram to the sparkle on their wrist when they leave. It’s hands-on, it’s personal, and it’s definitely a hustle. But getting to create something meaningful, while building a brand from the ground up? That’s the magic for me.
If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
Resilience—hands down. This journey has thrown curveballs, doubts, slow seasons, and late nights my way, but I’ve always chosen to show up anyway. That bounce-back energy is everything. I’ve learned to pivot, to keep pushing when things feel uncertain, and to trust that small steps still move me forward.
It’s easy to glamorize small business ownership on social media, but behind the scenes, it takes grit. You have to believe in your vision even when no one else fully sees it yet. For me, resilience means not waiting for perfect conditions but creating momentum anyway. That’s what’s carried me through the hard days and made the wins that much sweeter.
