Today we’d like to introduce you to Judith Aka Judi Igwe Enih.
Hi Judith aka Judi, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I grew up in a small one-bedroom apartment on the southeast side of Houston. There were five of us, two beds, and barely any space. The apartment was infested with roaches and rats, filled with medical equipment, and layered in chipped paint — but it was home. Even then, I was deeply sensitive to my environment. I didn’t have the words for it at the time, but I craved peace and beauty. I wanted a space that felt calm, sacred, and safe.
I found comfort in folding clothes, rearranging things, and making order out of chaos. What started as survival became a gift — my first form of therapy. I helped friends and family do the same without even realizing it was “organizing.” Years later, I finally said yes to my calling and created Rescue My Space.
Today, I help women who feel overwhelmed by their homes release what no longer fits and reset their spaces to reflect the version of themselves they’re growing into. This work is not just about decluttering — it’s about identity, alignment, and creating a home that supports your next chapter.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Definitely not. The road has been full of twists, doubts, and detours.
There were seasons when I wasn’t sure if anyone would take me seriously. Times when I felt like I had to prove my worth through hustle and doing everything alone. I started Rescue My Space without a business plan, just a deep knowing that I could help people feel better in their homes because I had lived through the same chaos.
I’ve also battled fear of visibility, imposter syndrome, and moments where I questioned whether I was even allowed to live the life I wanted after growing up with so little; guilt around having more can sneak in.
But every time I return to what I know to be true that spaces carry energy and people deserve to feel supported in their own homes, I’d find my way back.
This hasn’t been a straight path, but it’s been deeply meaningful.
We’ve been impressed with Rescue My Space , but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Rescue My Space is more than an organizing company — it’s a space for transformation.
We specialize in helping women, especially those who “have it all” on paper — the career, the family, the home — but who quietly feel overwhelmed by clutter, disconnected from their space, and misaligned with the version of themselves they’re becoming.
Through compassionate, judgment-free guidance, we help them clear what we call the SHIT: Stuff that has no value in your life today. We go beyond just tidying up we work with the emotional, identity, and energetic layers of the home. Our digital and in-person services are rooted in the belief that your space should support your future, not your past.
What sets us apart is our deep sensitivity to the emotional energy of the home. We’re not here to force systems that don’t fit; we guide each client into designing a space that reflects who they are now, not who they’ve been. This is especially important for women going through life transitions — whether it’s motherhood, career pivots, grief, or personal reinvention.
We’re known for making organizing feel sacred, grounded, and deeply personal. Not sterile or cold, but full of grace, clarity, and beauty.
We offer:
-Done-for-you virtual organizing for women ready to reset their home from the inside out
-In-person decluttering + organizing for men, especially fathers and widowers, who are often overlooked in this space
-Couples & family organizing to restore harmony and reduce relational tension caused by clutter
-Emotional release rituals and mindset support to help clients let go of identities they’ve outgrown
What we’re most proud of is how our clients feel when they walk back into their space. It’s not just clean, it’s calm. It reflects their next chapter.
We want your readers to know:
Your space holds your story. We help you write the next one.
Before we go, is there anything else you can share with us?
Yes! I want anyone reading this to know that you don’t have to live in survival mode inside your own home. Whether you’re a high-achieving woman, a devoted dad, or simply someone who’s outgrown the version of life your space reflects… you deserve a home that nourishes you.
Clutter isn’t just physical, it’s emotional. It holds stories, old roles, and past expectations. And when we start to release what no longer fits, we create space not just in our homes, but in our identity, in our relationships, and our next chapter.
That’s what Rescue My Space is really about, not just organizing but helping you reclaim your space, your rhythm, and your power in a way that feels like coming home to yourself.
