Hi Chelsea, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I’ve been in the industry for over 20 years. I was a makeup artist for Trish mcevoy in NYC for 10 year. Then I moved to Houston and started working at a med spa. I am also an aesthetician. 10 years ago I opened my own business. A little med spa in the Heights. 3 years ago I started to do injections. Now I do fillers and toxin injections. I also do IVs with vitamins.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It was hard to start my own business it took years before I started making a profit. Now I do very well.
It took almost 6 years to build up my clientele
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I do medical facials
Prp injections
Fillers and toxin injections. I am most proud of going from doing makeup to now injections 💉
Is there any advice you’d like to share with our readers who might just be starting out?
Stay positive and keep trying to learn new treatments. It wasn’t until I started to do fillers and injections that I started making real money.
