We recently had the chance to connect with James Pierre X and have shared our conversation below.
James Pierre, so good to connect and we’re excited to share your story and insights with our audience. There’s a ton to learn from your story, but let’s start with a warm up before we get into the heart of the interview. What are you being called to do now, that you may have been afraid of before?
Right now, I’m being called to simply “BE”… And in just being, I’m learning to follow the voice of my own heart. That may sound simple, but it’s been one of the most difficult things to do, because the voice of my heart often speaks a different language than the world around me.
For a long time, I was afraid to listen to that voice. I feared rejection, failure, and the unknown. But I’ve come to realize that true peace and power live in alignment with your truth. These times we’re living in are calling for authenticity.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is James, and I’m on a journey of self-discovery, a journey I’ve been walking intentionally for the past five years. It began in 2020, during the collective pause we all experienced during the global pandemic. That moment forced me to stop, slow down, and truly reflect on who I am and how I became the person I am today.
Through deep introspection, I began uncovering my past; my childhood, my trauma, and the emotional and mental patterns I developed in response to those experiences. I unpacked everything: how I process emotions, how I connect with others, how I make decisions. And through that work, I reclaimed my identity.
Today, I live life on purpose and with purpose. My hope is that through my presence, I inspire others to do the same. I believe that true authority flows from authenticity. To authentically “be” is a skill, and it’s one I’ve cultivated through intention, surrender, and sacrifice. That’s what makes my story and my work unique.
What I’m creating now is rooted in this awareness. I’m crafting teachings, experiences, and offerings that guide others into alignment with their own truth, because the world needs more people who know how to just “be”. These are the individuals who will lead the shift into the new Earth.
Divine order is the new compass.
Divinity lives within each one of us.
Presence is all there is.
That’s the message I carry. That is the life I’m building.
Appreciate your sharing that. Let’s talk about your life, growing up and some of topics and learnings around that. Who were you before the world told you who you had to be?
Before the world told me who I had to be and when I say “the world,” I mean not just society, but my parents, family members, teachers, and even spiritual leaders… I was free. I was full of imagination, wonder, and clarity. I knew who I was. I knew what I was here to do.
As a child, I saw through the illusion of separation. I noticed the disconnection; within my own family, in schools, and between communities and spiritual spaces. Even then, I knew that togetherness was the only true path forward. I had a message within me: one of unity, communion, and freedom through authenticity. I wanted to speak. I wanted to share the good news that we belong to each other, and that it’s safe to be who you are. But as I grew, the world began molding me into something I wasn’t. I began losing touch with that inner knowing, until I didn’t recognize myself anymore. It took years to return to the truth of who I was before the noise.
At my core, I’ve always been a safe space. A leader, not in the conventional sense, but in the sense of guiding others back home to themselves, through the example of presence. What I carry now is what I carried as a child: a deep knowing that we’re meant to live in unity, to be fully ourselves, and to walk in the freedom of being seen, known, and loved…. just as we are.
Today, I stand in that truth again.
When did you stop hiding your pain and start using it as power?
This is such a powerful question because it goes straight to the core of why I do what I do. It speaks to the essence of my being, my message, and my reason for existence.
Pain is necessary.
From my perspective, pain is purpose. There is no separation. Everything we go through, the beauty and the brokenness, is part of the same divine thread. So to be present with your pain is to recognize your purpose. That’s where your power comes from.
I used to hide my pain. I tried to protect others from it. But I realized… if I’m hiding my pain, I’m hiding my purpose. And if I’m hiding my darkness, I’m also hiding my light.
We’ve all cried in silence. We’ve all had moments that nearly broke us. But it’s within that darkness that our true strength is born. That’s where your superpower is. That’s where your voice, your truth, your authority comes from.
So when did I stop hiding my pain?
In 2020. That was the year I chose to confront the shadows. I went deep. I looked my pain, my trauma, and my patterns in the eye. I began to integrate what I once tried to run from. I stopped fragmenting myself. I made a decision to no longer live ashamed of what I’ve endured.
Now, I bring it all with me, the joy and the pain. I let it shape my message. I let it sharpen my voice. And I allow others to see it, so they know they’re not alone. Because pain, when faced and honored, becomes power. It becomes the very thing that makes us who we are.
So a lot of these questions go deep, but if you are open to it, we’ve got a few more questions that we’d love to get your take on. Is the public version of you the real you?
Yes. Absolutely.
The public version of me is the real me.
Like I’ve said before, there is no separation. I live a life of oneness, allowing the Spirit of Unity to express itself through me. Who I am behind closed doors is exactly who I am on a worldwide stage.
It took me a long time to get here. And I’m still learning, still growing, still softening into the boldness it takes to be me… to speak when necessary, to listen when needed, to walk away when called, to set boundaries and say: No, you’re not allowed into my space. All of that is part of the public version of who I am. Because in public, I have to engage with people. I have to move in spaces that are not always designed for authenticity. So the only way I can navigate life today is by being fully, unapologetically myself.
That’s why my message is all about relationship with self, because everything flows from that. To be connected to the divinity within myself, to recognize the divine within all beings, that’s the path. That’s the truth. I believe we are all divine pieces of a greater puzzle. Strategically placed. Orchestrated within the grand symphony of life.
So yes. Heaven yes. The public version of me is the real me. Because the real me is the only version I know how to be. I choose to let my essential self express itself fully.. through presence, through essence, through divine authenticity.
Thank you.
Thank you so much for all of your openness so far. Maybe we can close with a future oriented question. What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
The story I hope people tell about me is this:
Through the story of James Pierre X, I discovered who I am. Through James’ authenticity, I was inspired to live in truth; to embrace my flaws, to see my imperfection as divine perfection, to bring my darkness into the light.
The story of James Pierre X planted seeds within the hearts of the people and those seeds bared righteous fruit. James was a gift to the Earth; a leader of the new world, a builder of safe spaces, a visionary of a new way of existing, a limitless imagination made real, creativity embodied in community…. But James was only a leader because he reflected the leader inside every being he encountered.
That was his power: He mirrored your highest potential. He was a reflection of the love life has for each of us. James was a mirror. A walking reflection of agape love. Communal love. The ultimate love. Security is what you felt in his presence. He brought the soul out of people, because James was the soul. He was the heartbeat of a generation.
That’s the story I hope is told when I’m no longer here in the physical.
And even then… I am still here.
Even when my body is no longer on this Earth, my spirit remains. In the hearts of the people. In the culture I poured into. In the unity I helped restore. Because the legacy of James Pierre X isn’t just a story… it is presence.
Thank you.
