We recently had the chance to connect with Andrea Fraire and have shared our conversation below.
Good morning Andrea, it’s such a great way to kick off the day – I think our readers will love hearing your stories, experiences and about how you think about life and work. Let’s jump right in? What makes you lose track of time—and find yourself again?
Whenever I’m singing and worshiping, especially through music, I completely lose track of time. In those moments, it feels like it’s just me and God—everything else fades away. Even the biggest problems feel small when I’m in that space of connection and peace.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Andrea Fraire, and I’m a worship singer and songwriter with a heart to glorify God through music. Singing has always been my way of connecting with something deeper—something eternal. Whether I’m leading worship at church, recording a cover, or singing in the streets, I do it to bring light, healing, and hope to others.
What makes my journey special is that I don’t just sing—I minister. My music is rooted in my faith and shaped by my personal story of overcoming anxiety, depression, and seasons of uncertainty. Every lyric, every note is my way of saying, You’re not alone—God is with you.
Right now, I’m working on original music, posting worship content online, and collaborating with local ministries to reach people where they are. My brand is simple: it’s all about Jesus, authenticity, and using my voice to serve others.
Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. What relationship most shaped how you see yourself?
The relationship that most shaped how I see myself is the one I have with my father. About nine years ago, he was diagnosed with kidney failure and now goes through dialysis three times a week for five hours at a time. Despite the pain and exhaustion, he continues to work in our family’s landscaping business and support us with incredible strength and resilience. Watching him push forward without ever giving up has taught me how to be strong and how to never let struggle define who I am.
From a young age, I worked by his side in the Texas heat—planting trees, driving tractors, and helping run our business. My father would always tell me, “Tienes que estudiar y echarle ganas.” He wanted more for me, and his words were a constant reminder to pursue music and education.
Even during the hardest seasons—like when he got sick during the pandemic and our whole world changed—his faith in God and his commitment to our family never wavered. He showed me what it means to live with purpose, humility, and perseverance. Because of him, I’ve learned that my strength doesn’t come from circumstances—it comes from within, from God, and from the legacy of resilience my father lives out every day.
What fear has held you back the most in your life?
The fear that has held me back the most is believing the enemy’s lies—that I’ll never be enough. At times, those words echoed so loudly that they overshadowed truth. But whenever the enemy reminds me of my failures, Christ reminds me of who I am in Him, and the perfect plans He has for my life. His truth silences fear and renews my strength to keep moving forward.
Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. Is the public version of you the real you?
Yes, it absolutely is! The public version of me is just… me. I’ve always believed in showing up as my full, honest self—flaws, quirks, faith, and all. I don’t know how to be anyone else, and honestly, I don’t want to be. Being real might not always be perfect, but it’s peaceful—and that’s what matters to me.
Thank you so much for all of your openness so far. Maybe we can close with a future oriented question. What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
I hope the story people tell about me is that it was never really about me—but always about Christ. That my life was a reflection of His love, grace, and truth. I want to be remembered as a vessel who allowed God to work through me, someone who pointed others to Him in all I did. If my legacy says anything, I pray it says that I lived to make His name known, not my own.
