We recently had the chance to connect with Christina Lapina and have shared our conversation below.
Good morning Christina, it’s such a great way to kick off the day – I think our readers will love hearing your stories, experiences and about how you think about life and work. Let’s jump right in? What is a normal day like for you right now?
My days are a whirlwind of creativity, caregiving, and content! I wear many hats—I’m a wife, a mom, a blogger, a UGC creator, and a UGC coach—and somehow, I manage to balance them all. My mornings start early with my baby, followed by breakfast with the family and a stroll in the park with my daughter. One of the perks of my husband’s job being nearby is that we often get to enjoy lunch together at home, which is a rare and special moment in our busy schedules.
Afternoons are a blend of household tasks, playtime, and shooting content for brand collaborations—often all happening at once! In the evenings, we focus on family time, but my workday doesn’t really end there. Once everyone’s asleep, I dive back into creator mode: editing videos, answering brand emails, and developing lessons for my UGC coaching course. It’s a full life, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I’m 34 years old, originally from Ukraine, where I was born and raised. Five years ago, I moved abroad, became a mother to a beautiful daughter, and began working from home during my maternity leave as a UGC creator.
I create content for brands to help promote their products and services, while also running my blog and teaching others how to enter the UGC space through my own training course. Over the past two years, I’ve achieved great results and had the opportunity to collaborate with several well-known brands, including L’Oréal, Netflix, Victoria’s Secret, Estée Lauder and etc
Okay, so here’s a deep one: Who taught you the most about work?
My parents have always been my biggest inspiration. Even though they’re retired, they continue to stay active and work—driven not by necessity, but by passion and determination. They’ve built a meaningful life from almost nothing, relying solely on their resilience and unwavering willpower.
I’m also fortunate to be surrounded by people who are ambitious, hardworking, and committed to making a positive impact—both personally and professionally. In an environment like this, striving for growth, success, and purpose becomes second nature. It’s not just what you do—it’s who you are.
Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
*I’ve always been persistent—ever since childhood. Giving up was never an option for me. I’ve learned to set goals, stay focused, and push forward, even when others said they were impossible. That mindset has shaped everything I do. Interestingly, I see the same determination in my child now.
I truly believe that self-belief, hard work, willpower, and clear aspiration are the keys to achieving meaningful results. And when you live with that kind of drive, it can inspire others too. Sometimes, just by staying true to your path, you can help someone else believe in their own. That ripple effect has the power to change lives.
I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. Is the public version of you the real you?
Absolutely—100 percent, yes. Honesty is a core value for me. I don’t believe in embellishing the truth or pretending to be someone I’m not. I am who I am, and I speak from real experience.
Whether it’s my strengths or my setbacks, I’m open about all of it. I often share my fears, failures, and lessons learned with my audience. While many others in the industry choose to show only the polished, ideal version of success—especially when selling courses—I take a different path. I want people to see the full picture from the start.
I believe that being genuine builds deeper trust. When people see the truth—not just the highlight reel—they’re more prepared, more inspired, and more empowered to take their own journey seriously.
Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. If you knew you had 10 years left, what would you stop doing immediately?
If I could go back and give my younger self advice, I would start by letting go of fear. I would stop holding myself back because of doubts or imagined limitations. I would stop giving so much weight to the opinions of others—because, in the end, no one knows your path better than you do.
I wouldn’t waste time regretting the past. Every mistake and misstep taught me something valuable, and I now understand that growth often comes from discomfort. I would stop doubting my worth and abilities, and I would be kinder to myself—less self-critical, more forgiving. I would set high standards, but not at the cost of my well-being.
I would also be more intentional about who I allow into my life. I’d walk away sooner from toxic relationships that drain energy rather than add value. I’d surround myself with people who uplift, challenge, and inspire me.
And instead of spending money on material things or chasing status symbols, I would invest in experiences, emotions, and personal development. The joy and growth that come from travel, learning, and meaningful moments are far more lasting than anything with a logo.
