Christian, a huge thanks to you for investing the time to share your wisdom with those who are seeking it. Let’s jump in: What’s more important to you—intelligence, energy, or integrity?
The three are really important but If you can only choose one I think intelligence its the most important one.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Im Christian Martinez also known as Obeykhriz, I am a contemporary pop artist. I started painting around 8 yrs ago when I got invited to an art show called Surreal Houston at the Hardy and Nance studios in Downtown. The art show was a success with a full house. From there started going to more art shows around Houston have painted some murals also have showcased some paintings all around Houston and in San Antonio. But I focus more on selling my paintings thru social media. Some of my pieces have internationally to different countries like Spain, Switzerland, Mexico, Colombia, Canada among others and all around the U.S.
Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. Who saw you clearly before you could see yourself?
A friend that organized the first art show really believed in me. He saw my potential even before painting when I only used to sketch and before doing the art show and kind of guided me at first with some tips in art and saw the vision of what I will become.
Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
There hasn’t been a time I would almost gave up but have learned to make hard decisions of choosing who I surround my self to keep growing in this carreer.
I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. What’s a cultural value you protect at all costs?

I feel like I’m doing what I was born to do but I am still growing and cant wait for what this path will bring me.
