Sir Chrisjon Turner shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.
Sir Chrisjon, really appreciate you sharing your stories and insights with us. The world would have so much more understanding and empathy if we all were a bit more open about our stories and how they have helped shaped our journey and worldview. Let’s jump in with a fun one: What is a normal day like for you right now?
Wake up, dj practice
Send out dj invoices if needed
Record dj content for the week, edit videos and post to social media platforms
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hey, I’m dj JonDoe a young and hungry aspiring future celebrity dj who took his passion for music at a young age and ran with it. I found my first love in music when I was in kindergarten when I first started playing he violin. I knew I was pretty good with music because the first years with music I couldn’t read I could only replicate what was heard around me. It’s a unique skill that I can’t believe I’ve been able to lean on for so long when I started. Then, I eventually started to learn how to read the music and took my skill to another level. From there, when I left high school I knew I was bound to get involved in something engineering wise but I wasn’t so confident that I had found my purpose on that end yet. It wasn’t until my ex high school classmate/friend, put me onto DJing when I first got to college that I found that similar love for music again and it changed my trajectory forever!
Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. What was your earliest memory of feeling powerful?
When I use to make clothes in high school I always had some creative concepts that people liked
Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
There’s ups and downs in all scenarios in life rather we like it or not. I was faced with it while in school trying to balance and navigate my own life on top of trying to build something for myself for the future. The best thing I constantly tell myself is the “Story Isn’t over” and you haven’t loss until you’ve quit! So never quit !
So a lot of these questions go deep, but if you are open to it, we’ve got a few more questions that we’d love to get your take on. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
Being respected and valued within my craft
Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. What do you think people will most misunderstand about your legacy?
He did it because everybody else was doing it which is the biggest misconception the world will have because the passion for music runs deeper than the notes you read on the page, music has always been therapeutic to my life and it’s a good avenue for people to partake in to find some type of peace and calmness to their life
