Today we’d like to introduce you to Priscilla Garza.
Hi Priscilla, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I use to be an X-ray tech for memorial hermann and worked trauma for years, I loved the job but I also felt I was meant for more. In the end I had always been a free spirit and a creative. I had just gotten married and it was time for me to figure something out.
Covid happened and then I was stuck home for a bit. Then I started to do some research and found that being an esthetician might be the type of work I was looking for. A way to be a creative but also a way to help other woman feel beautiful. That moment started my mission for a new life for myself. I started working for a coffee shop that now my brother owns he didn’t at the time. I also love serving the community and making coffee.
However the work of doing facials, waxing, brow laminations, lash lifts, piercings and fine line tattoos that brings to all woman and even men is the work my souls so needed. The work of using my creative brain to make a difference in my community
I love the ability to be my own boss but also to be given the platform to support other small business. That’s my mission in life.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It has not, I’ve moved quite a bit since starting on my own. To rent suite spaces is so expensive. Then when you are building an organic audience based of off your hard work and learning client to client. It’s been a journey but recently opening my very first, very own space in the heart of Friendswood has made everything so worth it.

I am proud to say that I’m creating a space for other people to feel welcome, leave the heaviness of life at the door and enjoy a service from me.
I do facials, body waxing, lash lifts, brow laminations, piercings and fine line tattoos.
I think what sets me apart is that I welcome the creative side of the job, not every client is the same. However everyone needs a place to feel like home or even where the energy is pure to leave your worries at the door and go home feeling like you just left the best therapy session of your life. Feeling good about yourself in all ways. Whatever you came in for
Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
Authenticity, what you see is what you get. I hope to be your esthetician. I hope I get the privilege to hear your story and make you bloom!
