Today we’d like to introduce you to Aaron Javon.
Hi Aaron, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started out as a freelance videographer and photographer, offering affordable media services to help bring equality and visibility to businesses in my community. That passion grew into doing food reviews for local restaurants, bridging the gap between small businesses and the community. Today, I’m a Houston-based food influencer and also provide media support for a local nonprofit, Kommunity Krew
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It always starts off from a genuine stand point, so it’s never any real pressure, until you want better, and try to perfect your craft. The biggest struggle has been balancing everyday life with new responsibilities and everyday struggles like unexpected car troubles or slow money weeks or time for family and friends.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I always had an eye for art and my creativity, working the camera came natural but once I learned how to edit my videos, people fell in love with my style!
I’ve shot music videos, events with Marlon Wayans, comedy specials and weddings!
What set me apart from the rest?
I didn’t prepare for this lifestyle, I just jumped in and did it!!
I’m naturally good at what I do and I do it from pure passion, that’s why I chose to be affordable for my community!!
Now, I combined my creative editing and camera skills with my personality to showcase local restaurants and businesses
Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
My family are my biggest supporters!!!
I’ve networked so much around the city and learned from a little bit of everybody that has knowledge from millionaire CEO’s to the homeless man on the street… my God finds a way to communicate with me and guide me
