Hi Jelando , thank you for taking the time to reflect back on your journey with us. I think our readers are in for a real treat. There is so much we can all learn from each other and so thank you again for opening up with us. Let’s get into it: What is something outside of work that is bringing you joy lately?

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Jelando Johnson and I’m a musicpreneur which means I’m a professional musician and entrepreneur put together. My company is Lando Enterprises, LLC where we specialize in providing musical services for every need. I have recordings that can be heard on all streaming platforms and are available at www.jelandojohnson.com. I’m currently working on new music and I’m also the visionary behind Music2Math, a gaming platform that uses music to help students learn math. My motto is: making music that makes a difference.

More times than I can remember.
Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. What are the biggest lies your industry tells itself?
As long as you have talent you’ll be successful. It takes a lot more than that to make it in the music business. Faith, character, personality, a good attitude, strong work ethic, dependability, a plan, relationships, patience and consistency are all needed to be successful in the music business.

Nothing. I intend for everything I’m doing to pay off in the next 5 years.
