Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I have always wanted to be an educator as a young girl. I am passionate about learning and teaching. I have a husband who supports me and really encouraged me to pursue the vision the Lord gave me. Together we built Collaborative Success from the ground up. A small family-owned business. Traditional teaching is a beautiful thing, when done with a nurturing mind-state. However I’ve always wanted to transcend the four walls of the brick and mortar mentality. I really enjoy the innovative approach of the educational world. I love homeschooling my children and creating a nurturing and loving environment for them to thrive in and being able to provide the same opportunity for other children is a blessing for me. Teaching doesn’t just start and stop in a building. I have always wanted to provide our community with a place where kids can grow and cultivate and/or regain their love for learning. Collaborative Success is a program that supports whole- child well-being. I figured if we all can work together with schools, parents, community supports etc. Then we can create an innovative wave of learning by working together with supportive networks. We have created a platform for kids and their families to be intricately involved to really maximize their full potential supported by our collaborative efforts, which is the basis of Collaborative Success!
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The journey has been a smooth one for the most part. A lot of community support has helped to bring more life to Collaborative Success. During the time of COVID- 19 our business did take decline in client engagement due to the catastrophic circumstances of social distancing and the shock of financial responsibility along with the health protocols. Although it was a hard time facing unprecedented challenges, our business was able to meet the challenge head on and we were actually able to build a intricate part of our tutoring side of our business; offering virtual educational support services worldwide.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
We provide educational & family support services. Our focus is to really help support families by really bridging the gap. We realize that educational support is a board area of service needs, but most of our families really like our positive and nurturing environment that allows their kids to thrive and grow beyond measures in confidence, social skills etc. There are opportunities for kids to be in programs and join events within our innovative business approach, that really helps reinforce the importance of whole-child educational experiences. We specialize in really serving family needs in the areas of education, social, emotional, physical and even spiritual needs. I am most proud of our customer satisfaction. Our clients are long-term and become apart of a family when they join Collaborative Success; they become a part of the Collab Family! They lock into a positive and supportive network, where the support is there when they need it. We are set apart because we know that it is a gift from God that we are able to yield such powerful results, reviews and satisfying responses. It is through Jesus Christ that we are able to make such a positive impact – God gets all of the Glory.

What matters the most is instilling into the families the mindset behind our work is performed at a high level because of our love and passion for souls. Yes – we provide services, but most importantly we care for people and we understand that because we have something that can make a difference in the lives of many, we are obligated to maintain a mentality to serve. We never want to lose sight of a mindset to serve and help make a difference in the lives of any soul that partakes in our vision.
