Diane Gremmel shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.
Diane, so good to connect and we’re excited to share your story and insights with our audience. There’s a ton to learn from your story, but let’s start with a warm up before we get into the heart of the interview. What is something outside of work that is bringing you joy lately?
I absolutely love animals, dogs, cats, opossums, all animals! They are able to relate to us with such joy and love. I’ve worked with animal rescues, and I always have an animal friend around!
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I feel blessed to have worked for much of my adult life as a psychic medium. I love to connect with energy, and there are so many ways to do it.
I love teaching classes because I’ve never met a person who didn’t have some form of intuitive ability. Helping each person to discover their gifts is an amazing experience! Some people have the ability to see or hear energy, while others can learn to use tools like the Tarot.
I do many different types of readings, but my main focus is on helping each client to feel that their questions are truly answered!
Appreciate your sharing that. Let’s talk about your life, growing up and some of topics and learnings around that. Who were you before the world told you who you had to be?
I’ve always had my own viewpoint, even as a small child. As a young person I felt judged and rejected quite often, because I didn’t always see things the same way that most people did.
I eventually realized that being different is often a gift. I’ve learned to value everyone’s perspective, and I understand how important it is to appreciate even those people that you don’t agree with.
Communication is always possible if we keep listening to each other!
If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
I would tell my younger self that my interesting perspectives were not a curse, but a gift. Each of us is born with many gifts, and the most important thing that we can do is value those gifts. Do not hide your light under a bushel!
I would tell myself that the more you value yourself, the less other people’s judgements will matter.
I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. Whom do you admire for their character, not their power?
Everyone! Power is only as important as the character of the person who utilizes that power.
For those people who truly care about others, kindness is sometimes life changing for people around them. To me, TRUE power is the effort to be kind while still taking care of your own needs. In other words, all of us have more power than we realize.
Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
I try with every reading to do the best job possible.. Not everything that I say will make sense, but as time goes on, I hear from so many people that I read for many years ago, and I am SO grateful to hear the way that my reading truly helped them.
It would be fabulous to know that when I’m gone, there will still be people who are benefiting from the work I’ve tried to do.
