Today we’d like to introduce you to Ashley Jennis.
Hi Ashley, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I graduated from college in 2018 and worked for an amazing PR company as my first job. At this time it was a big wave of small businesses needing social media help and that was my primary focus in my role. I absolutely loved it!
After that, I went on to work in social media management until I started my own business in 2023!
Primarily, we work with creative entrepreneurs (photographers, stylists, wedding planners, travel agents, and designers.)
Since 2023, we’ve grown to a team of 3 and have clients across the US!
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Owning my own business has been both rewarding and challenging. One of the biggest obstacles has been finding the right pace to grow — balancing ambition with sustainability.
I’ve also had to learn how to divide my time between working in the business to serve clients and on the business to move it forward…
And like every entrepreneur, I’ve faced moments of self-doubt, especially when comparing myself to competitors, and had to remind myself that my journey, team, and service offerings are unique.

I guess I probably answered this too much in the last question, haha!
But we’re a small social media management company!
We specialize in organic social media management for small businesses (primarily creative entrepreneurs).
Two things we believe is missing in the social media landscape are approachability and organization.
The social media space can feel so daunting and intimidating and we want our clients to feel encouraged and excited to join in that landscape. Social media should be a fun outlet to share about your business and that’s what we hope to achieve.
We also want our clients to be able to depend on us and to mentally be able to check social media off their to-do list. We create, schedule, and post for them so they can focus on what THEY do best!
Do you have recommendations for books, apps, blogs, etc?
I couldn’t function without Google calendar, Asana, and my notepad/pen!
I haven’t depended too much on books and podcasts to learn, but instead I’ve leaned on the experience and advice of other entrepreneurs who have acted as mentors to me!
