Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I’ve been doing nails for more than 15 years, starting out just like many others — working hard every day and learning along the way. Over time, I realized I wanted to create something different: a salon that feels safe, relaxing, and healthy for everyone. That’s why I opened Douce Mains Nails Lounge here in Cypress. We don’t do acrylics or strong chemicals — instead, we focus on organic, vegan products so clients can leave not only with beautiful nails but also peace of mind.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
No, it hasn’t been smooth. I faced challenges like long hours, financial risks, and higher costs for using safer, organic products. But those struggles motivated me to grow and stay true to my vision of creating a healthier salon for my clients.

I’ve been in the nail industry for over 15 years and now own Douce Mains Nails Lounge in Cypress, Texas. I specialize in non-toxic, organic nail care — no acrylics, no harsh chemicals. I’m most proud of creating a salon where clients can relax and feel confident their nails are healthy. What sets me apart is our focus on wellness and detail, using only vegan, safe products. My goal is to combine beauty with care in every service we provide.
Who else deserves credit in your story?
I really couldn’t have done this alone. My husband and my son have always supported and encouraged me, which keeps me going every day. I’m also very grateful to our clients for their trust and support, and to my team for their hard work — together, they make Douce Mains Nails Lounge such a special place.
