Hi Mark, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I started my career as a pharmacist, and while I enjoyed helping people in that role, I was always curious about investing and financial freedom. I began reading a lot about different types of investments, and real estate really stood out to me — it combined strategy, tangible assets, and the ability to make a real difference in people’s lives.
I started small, learning from mentors and joining masterminds to understand what worked in the real world. Over time, I began doing my own deals, renovating and improving the properties I purchased. I discovered that I could help people in difficult situations — especially sellers who needed to move on quickly and didn’t have the time or resources to go through the traditional selling process. Helping those homeowners find solutions and peace of mind became one of the most rewarding parts of what I do.
As the business grew, it’s been fulfilling to see how these projects not only help individual families but also uplift entire neighborhoods. Today, with the help of a great team, I continue to learn, grow, and create win-win outcomes through real estate — helping sellers move forward while improving communities one property at a time.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. In the beginning, Balancing my job with learning real estate and managing deals was a major challenge. Time management became critical — every spare hour went toward studying, networking, and working on properties.
Starting a new business also came with a steep learning curve. There’s so much more to real estate than what you read in books — understanding markets, running numbers, building relationships, and staying consistent through ups and downs all take experience. I also had to learn how to work with many different types of sellers, each with their own unique situations and needs. Every conversation required empathy and problem-solving.
On the renovation side, no two properties were ever the same. Each project brought its own surprises — different levels of rehab, budgets, timelines, and contractor challenges. But over time, those experiences taught me a lot about adaptability, communication, and building systems. Looking back, the challenges were what pushed me to grow the most, both personally and professionally.
