Hi Tiara, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I have always been a trailblazer, breaking barriers and setting new standards. Growing up as a young Black girl on the South Side of Chicago, I could not have imagined the path that lay ahead. Today, I am a powerhouse attorney who has earned recognition and accolades and has been sought after by some of the nation’s most respected law firms. Even with prestige and honors, I realized something had been missing all along. What I had been missing was purpose.
What you see now is the power of being unshackled from expectations. The boldness, the braids, the unapologetic presence. This is what it looks like when you stop asking for permission to exist. This is not transformation; it is release. It is the freedom to embrace who I am and the work I am called to do.
Working at one of the largest law firms in Texas and one of the most respected law firms in the world gave me incredible insight, experience, and credibility. I learned from some of the brightest minds in the legal field, yet I felt the undeniable pull to create something of my own. I wanted to work at a law firm that reflected my vision and values, celebrated culture, and allowed me to embrace who I truly am. I wanted clients to feel a legal experience that was distinctive, sophisticated, and deeply personal. I realized that this could only happen if I built it myself. I walked away from the seat at the table and I built my own with FOREVER LEGAL. It took time, patience, dedication, sleepless nights, tears, and prayers, but it is here!
With FOREVER LEGAL, I have embarked on a bold, purpose-driven journey. Everything I experienced, including the challenges of losing my father, Timothy Earl Seals III, unexpectedly when I was fifteen, my career in counseling, and my path through law, has prepared me for this moment. I serve as a trusted advisor and a fierce advocate, creating a premier client-centered law firm that reflects who I am and what I stand for. Launching FOREVER LEGAL has been incredibly rewarding because it is a firm built on integrity, sophistication, and a deep understanding of my clients and community.
This journey has been unique, and over time I have come to fully embrace and appreciate it. There is so much I could share about the lessons, challenges, and victories along the way, but for now, it is enough to say this:
I worked at one of the largest law firms in Texas.
I then worked at one of the most prestigious law firms in the world.
I stepped back to find purpose and I am so glad I did.
Everything before now was a warm-up.
Rest assured—I’m just getting started.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Of course it was not easy. When I left “Big Law”, I had no clear roadmap. I went back and forth in my mind, wondering if I should start my own law firm, lateral to another big law firm or move in-house. The stability and prestige of the corporate world were undeniable, and somehow my identity had become tied to it because that is how people knew me, “Big Law Tee”.
Creating a law firm for the culture while also building a brand felt monumental. I also wanted to expand into legal commentary through an independent editorial platform. I had countless ideas, yet I did not yet know how to bring them to life. There was pressure to move quickly because everyone wanted to know where I was headed and what my next move was. The whispers were loud. Nevertheless, I invested every ounce of my finances, energy, and focus into building FOREVER LEGAL, while ignoring the whispers. Only my closest friends and family were aware of the work behind the scenes.
Along the way, I faced setbacks. Launch dates and rollouts were postponed, projects shifted, and I had to navigate a path I had never traveled before. Another challenge was learning to fully embrace my authentic self again. Certain environments had caused me to lose touch with that, and I had to reclaim it and become completely comfortable in it.
Another challenge for me has been learning how to build something bigger than myself. I know I’m an exceptional attorney and I’ve always been ambitious, but growing a brand at this level has stretched me in ways I never imagined. It’s hard work—mentally, spiritually, and emotionally—but I’m doing it anyway. Even when I’m exhausted, I know I’m aligned. It may take time, but anything truly worth having does. Ecclesiastes 3:11 is the foundation of this journey.
Lastly, one of my greatest challenges has been helping communities understand that estate planning is not just for the wealthy. It is for everyone. Many people have been misinformed for generations, believing they do not have enough to protect. The truth is, if you have something, you have something worth preserving. It is an uphill battle rooted in systemic oppression and years of miseducation. My team and I are committed to changing that through creative education, outreach, and partnerships designed to make estate planning accessible and empowering for all.

There is so much on the horizon for FOREVER LEGAL. We are preparing to launch THE FOREVER COLLECTIVE, a holding company that will bring together two distinct yet complementary subsidiaries. FOREVER LEGAL is a Texas-based virtual law firm and brand. FOREVER INSIDER is an independent editorial media brand already beginning its rollout.
Through this vision, we are creating collaborations that matter. FOREVER LEGAL works with women-led organizations, black-owned businesses, and community groups to provide education and guidance for minority business owners. This includes helping clients build, grow, and protect their brands, plan for business succession, and use estate planning as a strategic tool to preserve business wealth and legacy. Our mission is to empower communities by sharing knowledge where it is needed most.
FOREVER INSIDER will complement this work with legal commentary and insight across social media and YouTube. We focus on the analysis behind politics, high-profile cases, and other developments, offering legal analysis and cultural commentary. Our calendar is already filling with exciting collaborations for next year, and we are inviting organizations across Texas to partner with us for presentations, workshops, and virtual sessions that inspire, educate, and empower.
To support this growth, FOREVER LEGAL has launched its first internship program (FOREVER LEGAL 2026 INTERNSHIP ROGRAM) Several students have already applied, and we are eager to welcome more applicants to the Brand Development Track, especially those studying African American Studies, Journalism, Marketing, Media, Politics, and related fields. The Legal Development Track is also available for entering law students interested in research, drafting, and exposure to business law and probate/estate planning.
