Exploring Life & Business with John Boudreaux of Boudreaux & Boudreaux, LLC

Today we’d like to introduce you to John Boudreaux.

Hi John, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
After obtaining a BA in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin, I put myself through law school by working and getting 1 student loan. I worked for a law firm my 2nd and 3rd year of law school. Upon receiving my Texas law license and getting married at about the same time, I opened my own office next to the courthouse in Downtown Houston, where I practiced criminal defense and civil litigation including family law cases, personal injury, contract disputes. I practiced for over 10 years alone then my wife and current law partner joined me and we later formed our company, Boudreaux & Boudreaux, LLC and we continue to practice together to this day

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Smooth with struggles along the way, challenging large corporations and governmental entities and just the usual challenges that come along as a trial attorney

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Boudreaux & Boudreaux, LLC?
I am a trial attorney and I have succeeded in a few appeals along the way in both civil and criminal law. Over the last 10 years I have practiced mainly civil cases including personal injury, contract disputes, legal and medical malpractice, family law, consumer protection. I have done 4 trials this year, both bench and jury trials and have won all 4. I have had judges recused for failing to be fair and impartial and I have had lawyers kicked off of cases due to their misconduct.

What sets me apart is the easy access to talk to me while I analyze a client’s legal issues and I get creative to employ methods that might be considered out of the box.
