Daily Inspiration: Meet Victor Reachi

Today we’d like to introduce you to Victor Reachi.

Hi Victor, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I start i cabinet bussines as a helper in 2006, before that i was a framer, never happy with that work, i meet a guy call john kleypas whos give me my first opportunity to start in the woodworking bussines, then Luis Martinez who’s introduced me with a great designer Laran Cone, this happen in 2009, at that time i start to build my first cabinets, 4 years later Laran Cone decided to retire and she decided to leave me her phone with all her customers and my bussines really grow up a lot, but after i meet David Sanders from William David Homes then it’s when i start to become who im now, i suuuuuuuper busy contractor, now i have a big enormous cabinet shop and about 20 people working for me, i become a general contractor and do general construction not only cabinets, i have a beautiful family starting with my wife, 3 sons, 2 granddaughters and 1 grandson and really happy, every time i look back i cant believe im here thanks to, god, my family, all my good friends that i mention and of course to the this country, thanks.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Obstacles.
When i start as a general contractor i had very successful guys there that make my way very difficult because they was on the business for long time.
Challenges.
Be better than them, and when i had a little opportunity i hold to that ine because I knew that my competitors was a lot more famous than me, so i had to be double or triple better than them.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
Mostly we do cabinets but im a general contractor who’s hire all type of contractors to do tile, paint, granite etc to do my jobs, im very proud of all my crew who make be who i am and the quality of our work.

How do you define success?
Coming from be a framer helper 20 years a go become a very good general contractor who have customers who dont care to wait a year for me to do their work because they know that im good on what i do.
