Today we’d like to introduce you to Kalina Huggins.
Hi Kalina, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My business/ ministry, The Rebirth of You, started from the trauma/experience that I overcame. I experienced domestic violence in my early 20s at the hands of the father of my youngest child. It was an experience that gave me a passion, drive, made me feel determined that it was my duty to be a voice to a voiceless population. I advocate for the survivor, the woman who is still in it or who may have found herself experiencing domestic violence for a second or third time. My ministry is to empower, uplift , be a resource and a judgment free space that is center in love & the love of JESUS
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
No, it has not been a smooth road. I faced struggles of falling back into familiar patterns because although i was healed i was not delivered and made whole by GOD. I faced self doubt not feeling worthy among other things but GOD has brought me out and still bringing me out.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I will be publishing The Rebirth of A Butterfly on 11/14/2025. This published work will be a devotional to help women, whether they believe in JESUS or not, to be empowered and uplifted. I am most proud of this work and my support group that can help women who need to experience rebirth. What makes me different is that I experienced trauma, identity crises, hardships, and so many other things firsthand.
How do you think about luck?
Good luck I don’t believe in muck. I believe in favor in GOD which has placed me in rooms for my business/ministry and that I either didn’t qualify for or wouldn’t have ever dreamed of being in. Favor has saved me and will keep me long as stay in the will of GOD.
