Today we’d like to introduce you to Suzahn Maley.

Hi Suzahn, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’m Suzahn, the founder of Loventures. I started Loventures after realizing how easy it is for couples to fall into the routine of “dinner and a movie” and how hard it can be to come up with something new, especially when life gets busy. I’ve always been obsessed with experiences and intentionality, and I started to wonder: what if date night felt exciting again, like when you first started dating? That curiosity led me to start curating one-of-a-kind date experiences.

At first, I started sharing fun date ideas on TikTok and Instagram, just trying to inspire couples to do something different. I didn’t expect it to grow as quickly as it did, but clearly, people were craving something more. That’s when I created Loventures, to make it easier (and way more fun) to be intentional. From curated digital date guides to in-person events to physical date night boxes, everything I do is designed to help couples feel excited about spending time together again.

I’m not someone who came from a business background or always dreamed of starting a company, but this idea felt too important not to build. And now, getting messages from couples saying things like “this saved our relationship” or “we felt like we were dating again” , it just confirms I’m doing what I’m meant to do.

Loventures is truly built from the heart, and I’m so excited to keep growing it and bringing the spark back for couples everywhere.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Definitely not a smooth road and I don’t think any founder ever truly has one. There have been a lot of late nights, self-doubt, and learning things the hard way. I started Loventures with this belief that the idea was so good it would sell itself. But I quickly learned that even the best idea means nothing without strong execution, marketing, and consistency.

One of the biggest struggles has been figuring out how to market something that doesn’t fit into a standard product category. Loventures isn’t just a product, it’s an experience, a feeling. Communicating that in a way that resonates with people has taken time and trial and error.

I’ve also bootstrapped everything on my own, so managing growth without a big budget has forced me to get creative. There were times I felt really alone in it all, questioning if I could actually make this work. But every time I saw a couple post their date or message me about how it brought them closer, it reminded me why I started.

The hard parts haven’t gone away, but now I see them as part of the process and I honestly feel proud of how far I’ve come with what I’ve had.

Every experience is built around three thoughtful “stops” or steps, each one a surprise that encourages quality time, laughter, and intimacy.

What sets Loventures apart is how intentional and personal it feels. These aren’t just date ideas you could find online, we obsess over the details, from unique city stops to custom prompts and curated items in our boxes. Whether it’s a food swap challenge, painting in the park, or writing each other poems under a fig tree, each Loventure is built to create memorable moments that feel like you.

I think what I’m most proud of brand-wise is how many people tell me it’s helped them feel excited again in their relationship. The fact that something I created is being used as a tool to reconnect and have fun again, that’s everything to me.

At its core, Loventures isn’t just about dates, it’s about building a relationship that feels alive. Whether you’re celebrating an anniversary or just trying to get out of the “what do you want to do tonight?” rut, we’re here to make it easy and meaningful.

Any big plans?
Looking ahead, I’m really focused on deepening and expanding the impact of Loventures. We’ve already launched in over 20 major cities, and we’re just getting started. I’m excited to bring our mystery date guides to even more places across the U.S., always with a local, personal touch.

I’m also leaning into partnerships with local businesses. Collaborating with restaurants, wellness studios, museums, and more to make our dates feel truly unique to each city. Supporting small businesses while creating meaningful experiences for couples has always been core to our brand, and that will continue to be a big focus.

There are also a few new surprises in the works. We’re building something that will bring the Loventures experience even closer to home, in a whole new way. I’m not ready to fully reveal it just yet, but I think it’s going to be our most exciting chapter yet.
