Hidden Gems: Meet Kenya McCarter of McCarter Enterprise

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kenya McCarter.

Hi Kenya, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I started my journey with nothing but grit, faith, and a calling to build spaces where people could rise, not just survive. Over the years I’ve worn many titles: author, consultant, founder, builder. But beneath them all I’ve been a woman learning to rebuild from both success and loss.

There were seasons where I led teams, opened businesses, and hit financial highs most dream about, followed by moments that tested my belief in myself and my purpose. What grounded me was realizing that the power I carry doesn’t come from appearances or applause. It comes from knowing who I am when no one’s clapping.

Today I help others build legacies with integrity and strategy, the same way I’ve rebuilt mine. My story is still unfolding, but every chapter has taught me how to move with grace, stand on wisdom, and protect what’s sacred until it’s ready to be seen.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
The road hasn’t been smooth, but it’s been sacred. I’ve faced betrayal, financial loss, and the weight of rebuilding from ground zero more than once. There were moments when the people I helped the most became the ones who tried to tear me down. I’ve had to learn how to lead through heartbreak, parent through pressure, and still show up with integrity when it would’ve been easier to quit.

What I know now is that challenges don’t disqualify you—they refine you. Every closed door forced me to build my own. Every loss reminded me that peace is part of profit. I’ve learned to trust timing, protect my energy, and move in purpose even when the path feels uncertain.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
McCarter Enterprise Incorporated is a parent company with multiple divisions focused on business development, government contracting, and brand strategy. We specialize in helping entrepreneurs and organizations become contract-ready, scale sustainably, and position themselves for long-term impact.

What sets us apart is our ability to bridge strategy and soul — we don’t just build businesses, we build legacies. Every division under McCarter Enterprise reflects that mission, whether it’s consulting, training, or developing operational systems for care homes and service-based companies.

I’m most proud that we’ve helped hundreds of business owners gain clarity, structure, and access to opportunities they once thought were out of reach. Our brand stands for integrity, excellence, and empowerment — creating pathways for leaders who are ready to grow beyond survival and into legacy

Is there anything else you’d like to share with our readers?
What I’d add is that everything I build is rooted in purpose. My story isn’t about perfection; it’s about perseverance, faith, and vision. I believe success isn’t just measured by income, but by impact how many people rise because of what you created.

If my journey says anything, it’s that you can lose everything and still come back stronger, wiser, and more grounded. My mission now is to help others do the same to build with integrity, lead with purpose, and protect their peace while doing it.
