Today we’d like to introduce you to Chris Holmes.
Hi Chris, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Everything started with two Key moments early on: reading 2Pac’s poetry book “The Rose That Grew From Concrete.” The other one, when it comes to Photography and Media, is helping out a best friend with his new camera, which I found my camera eye. I was helping him by trying to take a photo for his social media profile picture.
From there, it has been an ongoing journey, transitioning from performing live poetry in a written format to now freestyling my material as well. In the media, I have captured many different Key moments in photography. This range is from weddings, graduation events, models & much more along the way. I have met a wide range of people and expanded into various aspects of media production, including podcasting.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Some of the struggles I think I went through are also those that other people face. You have to constantly remind yourself that you are the person capable of doing this at times. It can be a challenge because we see how some people can quickly gain a significant following on social media, but in reality, there are many more people out there trying to establish a presence on social media, which can be both beneficial and a distraction.
You also have your own personal financial struggles, or you may be in an environment where you’re looking for one that could be more encouraging than the actual destruction. It’s a constant reminder always to protect your peace and be in healthy environments to grow past your challenges

Soul Productions is a production company to help with personal and business needs. The production includes photography, videography, film, modeling, branding, social media content creation, podcasting, and more. We can capture lifetime moments, such as a wedding, or help launch your dreams with a media company backing your brand. Soul Productions is dedicated to helping you reach your success.
We are most proud of our podcast, which features over 200 episodes of encouraging stories, including guests from movies, sports, business, education, and more, from which we can all learn.
Before we let you go, we’ve got to ask if you have any advice for those who are just starting out?
My advice to anyone starting would be not to be afraid of failure, but to take as many chances as possible. Take chances on doing the things you want to do, rather than live in the thought of regret, wishing you had, or what if. Also, to view mistakes not as a downfall, but as a learning lesson to improve or to get even closer to where you want to be.
The most successful people have learned to overcome failure and mistakes, along with fear, they use it as a stepping stool to overcome and reach their destination.
