Hi Angelica , so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
When I first started JelzDesignz, I honestly just had a dream, a makeup brush, and a whole lot of faith. I began doing brows and makeup back in 2015, not knowing that one day it would grow into something so beautiful. I didn’t have everything figured out but I had passion, and that was enough to get me started.
From doing a few clients here and there, to building real relationships and seeing people light up when they saw themselves in the mirror that’s when I knew this was bigger than just makeup. It was about confidence, self-love, and bringing out the best version of every person who sat in my chair. 2019 I added permanent brows as a service.
Now in 2025, JelzDesignz has grown so much, and I’m still learning, growing, and perfecting my craft every single day. Every client, every face, every moment has been a part of this journey.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
When I started JelzDesignz, it wasn’t easy. I didn’t have all the tools, all the clients, or even all the confidence but I had a dream. I started off doing brows and makeup from scratch, learning as I went, and trusting that my passion would make a way for me.
There were moments I wanted to give up. Times when business was slow, support felt small, and things didn’t go the way I hoped. I faced doubt, setbacks, and plenty of lessons but through it all, I stayed consistent and kept believing in myself. I reminded myself that every artist, every boss, every dreamer has to start somewhere.
Each challenge pushed me to grow stronger. Each “no” made me work harder. Each client who sat in my chair reminded me why I started to make people feel beautiful, confident, and seen.
Now in 2025, looking back on the journey, I’m proud. JelzDesignz has grown not just because of talent, but because of faith, perseverance, and love for what I do. Every struggle turned into strength, and every lesson built the brand you see today.

At JelzDesignz, I specialize in enhancing natural beauty through brows and makeup artistry. I started this journey with a passion for helping people feel confident and beautiful in their own skin. Over the years, I’ve developed a signature style that focuses on creating soft, flawless, and long-lasting looks that bring out the best in every face.
I’m known for my attention to detail, my ability to match each look to a person’s unique features, and for making my clients feel comfortable and cared for from start to finish. Whether it’s a clean brow sculpt, a glamorous full-face, or a natural everyday look I believe beauty should feel effortless yet unforgettable.
What I’m most proud of is the growth and consistency it took to build JelzDesignz from the ground up. I’ve faced challenges, learned lessons, and poured my heart into this craft. Every client I work with becomes a part of my story, and seeing their reaction when they look in the mirror makes it all worth it.
What sets me apart is the personal connection I create with my clients. I don’t just apply makeup I listen, I uplift, and I make sure they leave my chair feeling like the best version of themselves. JelzDesignz isn’t just about beauty it’s about confidence, empowerment, and self-love.
What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
Over the next 5 to 10 years, I see myself in a building a planted location for my clients .the beauty industry continuing to evolve in powerful ways. It’s already moving beyond just looks it’s becoming more about self-expression, individuality, and confidence. People are embracing their natural features more than ever, and I believe the focus will shift even deeper into enhancing, not hiding, what makes each person unique.
Makeup will always be about creativity, but I see a stronger balance between natural glam and bold artistry clean skin, soft brows, glowing finishes, but also fearless pops of color and personality. Technology and social media will continue to play a big role too, giving artists new platforms to grow and connect with clients all over the world.
For artists like me, it’s about staying authentic while adapting continuing to learn, evolve, and bring fresh, innovative ideas to the table. I think we’ll see more collaboration, more education, and more emphasis on building confidence from the inside out.
