An Inspired Chat with Bebe Harry of Houston

We’re looking forward to introducing you to Bebe Harry. Check out our conversation below.

Bebe, so good to connect and we’re excited to share your story and insights with our audience. There’s a ton to learn from your story, but let’s start with a warm up before we get into the heart of the interview. Have you ever been glad you didn’t act fast?
Absolutely. I’ve learned that not everything requires a quick reaction. Sometimes, slowing down allows clarity to step in. There have been moments when I wanted to rush into new ideas for Pretty Girl Goals, but waiting gave me time to refine my vision and make sure every decision aligned with my purpose. I’m glad I didn’t act fast because patience helped me build something more meaningful.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Bebe, and I’m the founder of Pretty Girl Goals, a lifestyle t-shirt brand created to inspire and empower women to chase their goals unapologetically. The phrase ‘Pretty Girl Goals’ is more than just a cute saying; it’s a mindset. It represents women who are working hard, evolving, healing, and becoming the best versions of themselves while looking and feeling good doing it.

What makes my brand unique is its simplicity and message. Every shirt is a daily reminder that you can be ambitious and feminine; strong and soft, all at once. I wanted to create something that speaks to everyday women who are showing up for themselves, whether they’re building a business, going after a promotion, or simply striving to live a more intentional life.

Right now, I’m focused on expanding Pretty Girl Goals into a full empowerment brand – not just through apparel, but also through lifestyle content and collaborations that celebrate women who are defining success on their own terms.

Okay, so here’s a deep one: Who taught you the most about work?
My grandfather taught me the most about work. He was the definition of dedication and consistency. Watching him show up every day, no matter what, taught me that real success doesn’t come overnight; it’s built through discipline and integrity. He had this quiet strength about him; he didn’t have to say much because his actions spoke volumes.

That’s something I carry with me in everything I do, especially with Pretty Girl Goals. He taught me that the work you put in behind the scenes is just as important as what people see on the surface. That lesson shaped my mindset as a woman and as an entrepreneur to stay consistent, keep faith, and always move with purpose.

What fear has held you back the most in your life?
The fear that’s held me back the most has been the fear of taking that leap of faith. For a long time, I hesitated to fully bet on myself, whether it was starting a new venture, making a big decision, or stepping into rooms where I didn’t feel completely ready. I think many of us struggle with that quiet doubt that asks, ‘What if it doesn’t work out?’

But I’ve learned that fear and faith can’t live in the same space. The moment I decided to move forward with Pretty Girl Goals, even without having every detail figured out, everything started aligning. I realized that sometimes you have to leap first, and the confidence catches up later. That experience reminded me that growth only happens when you’re willing to step outside of what’s comfortable.

I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
My closest friends would probably say that what matters most to me is purpose, living a life that means something, and helping others do the same. I’m the friend who’s always encouraging everyone to dream bigger, stay grounded, and keep going even when things get hard. I believe in celebrating women for who they are and who they’re becoming.

That’s really what Pretty Girl Goals is about at its core — it’s not just a brand, it’s a reminder that every woman deserves to feel proud of her journey. Whether it’s personal growth, faith, family, or success, I care deeply about seeing people around me win and feel good about themselves while doing it.

Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
I hope people say that I made them believe in themselves a little more, that I was someone who led with faith, purpose, and love. I want my story to be about a woman who turned her dreams into something that inspired others to chase theirs.

With Pretty Girl Goals, my goal has always been bigger than t-shirts; it’s about creating a movement that reminds women they’re capable of anything. If people remember me as someone who encouraged them to take that leap, stay true to themselves, and keep going no matter what, then I’ve done exactly what I was meant to do.
