Katharine Branham shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.
Katharine , it’s always a pleasure to learn from you and your journey. Let’s start with a bit of a warmup: What do the first 90 minutes of your day look like?
“The first few minutes of my day begin with gratitude. I take a moment to give thanks for a new day, then I check my messages. I always look for any urgent or emergency requests first — these are often about missing people, lost pets, or loved ones who have passed unexpectedly. I respond to those right away, then move on to the regular messages and begin replying to everyone else.”
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
“What makes me unique is that I was born a natural-born psychic medium and channel. I don’t rely on tools or rituals — I simply connect directly to Spirit and allow the messages to flow through me. I channel divine guidance and messages from the other side to help people find clarity, comfort, and healing. Over the years, I’ve assisted countless individuals in locating missing people and pets, and in delivering messages from loved ones who have passed.
I also believe that everyone has psychic gifts — it’s just a matter of awakening them. That belief inspired me to write five books, with two more currently in the works. Each book is written with a specific energetic frequency designed to help readers open their own spiritual gifts and raise their vibration as they read.
My work is guided by compassion, truth, and the understanding that every connection serves a divine purpose. My gift isn’t just about seeing — it’s about channeling, understanding, and sharing the deeper meaning behind what I see.”
Appreciate your sharing that. Let’s talk about your life, growing up and some of topics and learnings around that. Who were you before the world told you who you had to be?
“I’ve shared much of this part of my story in my book How I Found My Superpowers. Before I ever told the world about my abilities, I never thought of myself as anyone special — and honestly, I still don’t. My life felt ordinary in many ways, except for the quiet truth I carried inside. I could see and feel things that others couldn’t — the hidden emotions, the unspoken pain, the love that people were afraid to express, and sometimes, the lies they lived when no one else was watching.
It was a heavy kind of knowing. For a long time, I struggled with the weight of it, wondering why I was given this awareness. I didn’t see it as a gift at first — it was simply my reality. Over time, I’ve come to understand that what I see isn’t meant to divide or expose, but to help heal. My purpose is to bring truth into the light with compassion, and to remind others that even in what’s hidden, there’s always love and understanding waiting to be found.”
When you were sad or scared as a child, what helped?
“When I was a child and felt scared, I saw spirits around me almost every day — especially during the toughest times of abuse I endured. They were gentle, loving presences that surrounded me when I felt most alone. I didn’t always know who they were, but I could feel their kindness and protection. Through it all, I was guided by the frequency of God — a steady, peaceful energy that helped me stay calm and gave me strength to keep going.
Even in moments of deep pain, of my body hurting so much from a beating, I didn’t know I would make it through the night. I could sense that divine light wrapping around me, reminding me that love was stronger than fear. Looking back now, I know those spirits and that divine presence were there to protect me and teach me how to listen, trust, and never lose faith in the light.
Because of those experiences, I’m able to deeply understand and help others who have endured childhood trauma. I can recognize their pain, hold space for their healing, and show them that even in the darkest times, they can make it past the painful memories to open to the light and love of the universe.
Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. What’s a belief or project you’re committed to, no matter how long it takes?
“One of the strongest beliefs I hold — and will always stand beside — is being vegan and teaching humanity that animals feel pain, sadness, and love even deeper than we do. From a very young age, I’ve known through Spirit that animals are not lesser beings; they are conscious souls with emotions, purpose, and wisdom of their own.
Humanity has done itself and the animal kingdom a great disservice by normalizing the enslavement and suffering of animals — and by believing the false idea that we need their bodies for nourishment. This belief system has kept humanity anchored in a lower vibration, preventing many from fully awakening their spiritual gifts.
Through messages from the Spirit world, I’ve learned that every action carries energetic consequences and divine teaching. When we choose compassion and respect for all living beings, we raise our frequency and return to a heart-centered way of living. The greater purpose behind this teaching is to remind humanity that love, empathy, and unity with all forms of life are the true path to spiritual evolution.”
Thank you so much for all of your openness so far. Maybe we can close with a future oriented question. What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
“I hope the story told about me is one of love, compassion, and devotion to humanity and animals. I have a deep love for all beings and a way of seeing the good in them, even when no one else does. Even as I recognize their insecurities, struggles, and flaws, my love for them grows stronger. I want to be remembered as someone who used her gifts not for recognition, but to bring healing, clarity, and light into the lives of others.
I devoted my life to helping people awaken their own spiritual gifts, to open their hearts, and to live in alignment with truth and love. I hope my story shows that, even in life’s darkest moments, I believed in humanity’s inherent goodness and encouraged others to see it, too. Ultimately, I hope to be remembered as someone who lived with purpose, compassion, and unwavering love for all beings — inspiring others to do the same.”
