An Inspired Chat with Aracely Nanez

We’re looking forward to introducing you to Aracely Nanez. Check out our conversation below.

Hi Aracely, thank you so much for joining us today. We’re thrilled to learn more about your journey, values and what you are currently working on. Let’s start with an ice breaker: What are you most proud of building — that nobody sees?
is the life and mindset I’ve created for my family. I’ve worked hard to build a home filled with love, faith, and stability while continuing to grow in my career. It’s not something that shows up in accomplishments or online, but it’s the foundation that allows me to show up every day strong, grateful, and motivated — for my clients, my team, and especially my kids.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Aracely, and I’m a professional hair and makeup artist based in Houston. I specialize in creating timeless, elegant looks for brides and special events, but what truly sets my brand apart is the experience behind the service. My goal is to make every woman feel seen, confident, and beautiful — not just on the outside, but from within.

My journey started with a deep passion for beauty and connection, but over the years it’s become so much more than that — it’s about empowering women, building trust, and being part of moments they’ll remember forever. I’m also a realtor and entrepreneur, and I love showing that with faith, discipline, and heart, it’s possible to grow in every area of life while staying true to your values.

Right now, I’m working on expanding my brand, mentoring other artists, and building a future space where beauty and empowerment come together in one place.

Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. What breaks the bonds between people—and what restores them?
I believe what truly breaks the bonds between people is a lack of loyalty, respect, empathy, and love. When these values aren’t reciprocated, the relationship can easily fracture.

The only way to restore it is by taking responsibility for your actions, approaching the other person with humility, and earning forgiveness—not just through words, but through genuine actions that show your sincerity.

What did suffering teach you that success never could?
Suffering taught me the depth of resilience, patience, and faith in a way success never could. Success feels rewarding, but it’s temporary and often external. Pain, challenges, and loss forced me to look inward, to trust God even when I didn’t understand, and to grow stronger emotionally and spiritually.

Through suffering, I learned what truly matters: inner peace, authentic relationships, and the courage to protect my heart and my purpose. It’s shaped me into a more compassionate mother, wife, and businesswoman, someone who doesn’t just pursue results, but pursues meaning.

Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. Is the public version of you the real you?
Yes, the public version of me is the real me just a little more polished. I’m a family woman, deeply dedicated to my two kids and my husband. What people see is my work, my passion, and my faith, but behind the scenes, it’s all about love, family, and staying true to myself.

Thank you so much for all of your openness so far. Maybe we can close with a future oriented question. What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
I hope my children always feel the love and support I give them, and that they see the example of hard work and dedication in everything I do. Professionally, I want to be remembered as a businesswoman who creates meaningful experiences for clients, leads with integrity, and builds a legacy that inspires both my family and others in my industry.
