We’re looking forward to introducing you to JERMILLA ELAINE TUNSON. Check out our conversation below.
JERMILLA ELAINE, so good to connect and we’re excited to share your story and insights with our audience. There’s a ton to learn from your story, but let’s start with a warm up before we get into the heart of the interview. What do the first 90 minutes of your day look like?
Wake up at a consistent time often around 5:30-6:30am
say my morning prayers and affirmations before i get out of the bed
quick hygiene routines,
avoid phone and checking emails
journaling and set my things to do list
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Jermilla Tunson, I started this journey with one goal in mind, to help people feel confident and comfortable in their skin, like many others, i saw how stretch marks and scars could affect self-esteem, and i knew there had to be a better way to treat them, at Body sculpting Beauty Bar LLC, we specialized in safe effective stretch mark / scars removal solutions that truly work. whether you’ve just gone through pregnancy, experienced rapid weigh changes, or simply want to feel more confident in your body, I’m here to support you every step of the way.
Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. What part of you has served its purpose and must now be released?
Perfectionism can feel like a strength- a way to show care. detail and commitment. But in reality, it often masks fear: fear of judgment of failure, of not being enough, As a entrepreneur, waiting until everything is perfect delays progress, learning, and impact. The truth is momentum beats perfection- So i should release the perfectionist mindset-and replace it with consistent, courageous action. Start messy, learn fast, improve as you go.
Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
There was a point in my journey where i questioned everything
The long hours, the self-doubt, the financial stress. I had put my heart into building something meaningful-helping people feel confident in their skin, healing stretch marks/ scars, and reminding them that they are beautiful (people). But behind the scenes, I was exhausted, I wasn’t sure if anyone really saw the effort, the passion, the why behind what I was doing
Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. Is the public version of you the real you?
The public version of anyone-entrepreneur artist or Al Is often polish, it’s the version that communicates clearly stays composed, and focuses on purpose. But the real version-the inner one-holds doubts, dreams and messy emotions, that’s the version that grows, questions and feels. n business an in life, I believe the most magnetic people are those who learn to bridge those two worlds, the professional and personal .
Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
I want my legacy to be one of the confidence, compassion and courage. That I built something that didn’t just treat stretch marks-it treated the way people felt about their bodies
