Hi Kelsee, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’m Kels (KelsTheDJ) a Houston,Texas based DJ and the owner of Nature’s Touch LLC, a cannabis and CBD brand currently undergoing a full rebrand.
My DJIng skills centers on hip-hop, R&B, and now dancehall/reggae, genres that inspire connection, movement, and joy. Music has been an essential part of my life since childhood, and each performance offers an opportunity to create meaningful experiences through rhythm and sound.
Since staring my career in 2022, I have performed at a range of venues and private events, including lounges, weddings, and special occasions. In 2023, I expanded my reach with performances in Brooklyn, New York; Atlanta, Georgia; Dallas; and Austin, Texas, bringing my sound to new audiences across the country.
As I continue to grow both professionally and artistically, I remain deeply grateful for the unwavering support of my family, friends, and faith in Christ, which have guided me throughout my journey. I look forward to building new connections, performing in new spaces, and creating lasting memories one set at a time.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Some of the biggest challenges I’ve faced are time management and health. DJing demands long hours of practice, set preparation, music library organization, and networking. On top of that, the lifestyle late nights several times a week, physical strain, drinking, and inconsistent diet and sleep can take a real toll if you’re not intentional. That’s why I make a conscious effort to care for myself physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.
Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
No luck. God’s grace and consistent hard work is what got me to this point.
