Today we’d like to introduce you to Veonce Dasilva.
Hi Veonce, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
How It All Started”
I was 19 when I lost my job during the pandemic. It was a really tough time — I was struggling just to keep up with rent. One day I heard about Airbnb, and honestly, I didn’t know much about it. I thought you had to own property to host, but I figured I’d give it a try anyway. I listed my apartment, hoping to maybe make a couple hundred dollars to help with bills.
To my surprise, I started getting bookings right away — and that first month, I made $10,000. I had never seen that kind of money before, and that moment changed everything for me. I realized this could be more than just a side hustle.
From there, I decided to take it seriously. I formed my LLC, started educating myself, took courses, and learned as much as I could about hospitality and short-term rentals. I began scaling — first across California, then expanding into Arizona and Houston. Now, I even host properties internationally in Mexico and Punta Cana.
It’s been an incredible journey — from losing my job to building a business I’m truly proud of.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Definitely not a smooth road I made some bad partnerships where I was investing with a friend who used me and ended up kicking me off the lease collecting all the money although I was the one who set up everything. I learned be careful who you do business with
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Airbnb strategy ?
I specialize in helping people start their own Airbnb businesses, whether that’s right here in the U.S. or in other countries. I offer mentorship and turnkey setups that make it easy for anyone to get started, even if they’ve never hosted before. My goal is to guide people through the whole process — from finding the right property to setting it up, managing guests, and building a steady source of income. So far, I’ve helped over 100+ clients launch their short-term rental businesses, and seeing them succeed has been one of the most rewarding parts of what I do.
So maybe we end on discussing what matters most to you and why?
What matters most to me is helping people create freedom — whether that’s financial freedom, time freedom, or simply the freedom to live life on their own terms. I know what it feels like to struggle and start from nothing, so being able to guide others toward opportunities that can truly change their lives means everything to me. It’s not just about Airbnb or real estate — it’s about showing people what’s possible when they believe in themselves and take that first step.
