Today we’d like to introduce you to Briannalyse.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My name is Briannalyse. I’m a singer, songwriter, recording, and performance artist. I was born, raised, and I’m currently residing in Houston Texas. I have been singing all of my life, I can’t remember a time where I wasn’t. I began recording music about eleven years ago. I’ve been writing and recording my original music for about six years now. I’ve always loved music. Writing has always been my absolute favorite part of the process. I’m a project driven artist and any project or album that I’m working on is a representation of what era of life I’m experiencing at the time.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It absolutely hasn’t been a smooth road. I’m currently independent and it takes a lot to fund and upkeep a music career as an independent artist. I think every aspect of struggling has only arisen to challenge me mentally. I love to construct a song however, every song that I have created and published is a result of something that I have experienced personally. My career path required me to grow into sharing my perspective, to become a more confident individual, and to become more comfortable with being perceived by others. I recognize now that growing within my artistry has actually always coexisted with me growing into my own my own individuality.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m an independent singer, songwriter, vocal producer, recording, and performance artist. I would say that I specialize in songwriting and I’m proud of each song that I have published however I’m mostly proud of my first EP titled “Crybaby” and my first album “The Girl Next Door.”
Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
Something that may be surprising about me is I’m a fierce debater and very strong within my convictions. I’m extremely opinionated and I hold a very bold stance on what I believe in.
