Hi Opal, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started doing makeup at a very young age for friends and family after watching hours and hours of Youtube videos, later on creating them and turning this hobby of mine into a business.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Is anything ever a smooth road? I believe the harder the climb is, the better the view will be. It has been challenging to find what part of the makeup industry I want to focus on, I have tried anything from theater makeup to fashion shows, events and photoshoots. It’s always hard to niche down.

I am a makeup artist. In recent years my specialty has been the fashion world, between fashion shoots to fashion shows. I specialize in natural glam which works really well for many things, I have developed a special style that I believe when you see my work, you can tell who did it.
Risk taking is a topic that people have widely differing views on – we’d love to hear your thoughts.
Moving to New York at the age of 20 right after Covid to pursue my dreams of getting into the fashion world on a larger scale, a month after heart surgery!
