Today we’d like to introduce you to Michelle Marshall.
Hi Michelle , so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I started my business, Celes James Enterprise LLC, because I wanted to create real solutions for people who needed trustworthy services they could depend on. I’ve always been a hard worker and a problem-solver, and after years of researching, learning, and investing in myself, I decided to build a business that reflects who I am — someone who cares about doing things the right way.
I began with tax preparation, credit repair, and notary work, and over time I kept growing, improving, and teaching myself how to run a stronger business. Every mistake taught me something, and every challenge pushed me to level up. I built everything from the ground up — my website, my pricing, my marketing, and my systems.
Today, I’m proud of how far I’ve come. I’ve created a professional, multi-service company that helps my community and allows me to build something meaningful for my future and my family. My journey hasn’t been easy, but it has been worth it, and I’m excited for what’s ahead.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
My journey definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. When I first started my business, I had to figure out almost everything on my own. I didn’t have a team, a mentor, or funding behind me — just determination and a willingness to learn. I made mistakes, had setbacks, and had to constantly rebuild and improve my systems, pricing, marketing, and website.
There were times when things were slow, and I questioned if I was doing it right. I had to balance learning multiple industries at once — tax preparation, credit repair, notary work — while also working a full-time job and managing life responsibilities. Building a business from scratch with no blueprint takes patience and discipline.
But each challenge made me stronger. Every obstacle pushed me to become more knowledgeable, more confident, and more committed to creating a business that truly serves my community. I’m still growing, still learning, and still building — but I’m proud of how far I’ve come.
We’ve been impressed with Celes James Enterprise LLC, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Celes James Enterprise LLC is a multi-service business built on integrity, professionalism, and real results. I specialize in tax preparation, credit repair, and mobile notary services, and I take pride in offering fast, reliable, and affordable support to clients who need someone they can trust.
What sets me apart is that I built everything from the ground up and I truly understand my clients’ struggles. I know what it feels like to have to figure things out on your own, so I created a business that makes things easier for other people. I take time to educate my clients, explain the process, and make sure they feel confident and supported.
I’m most proud of the fact that my brand represents hard work, growth, and consistency. I didn’t come from a business background — I learned, researched, trained, and invested in myself to create a company that helps people change their financial situations, stay compliant, and move forward in life.
At Celes James Enterprise LLC, clients can expect honesty, professionalism, and real care. Whether it’s taxes, credit, or notary work, my goal is to make sure every person feels valued, understood, and taken care of.
We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you?
I don’t really credit my journey to luck — good or bad. Most of what I’ve built came from hard work, consistency, and refusing to quit even when things were tough. If anything, my “luck” came from being willing to take risks, learn new skills, and keep moving forward when others might have stopped.
There were moments that felt like bad luck, but looking back, they pushed me to level up, do more research, and build a stronger foundation for my business. And the good moments came because I stayed prepared. So I believe you create your own luck by putting in the work, trusting your direction, and staying focused on your goals.
