Today we’d like to introduce you to Rami Hamed.
Hi Rami, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I come from a pretty diverse background. I actually started selling cars as a teenager alongside my dad, and he bought me a camera so I could photograph the cars. That’s where I first fell in love with photography, even though I had a ton of other interests at the time.
From there, I spent a few years selling high-end furniture at my uncle’s store, which taught me a lot about the psychology of sales and how to work with luxury clients. After that, I moved into restaurant and hospitality marketing, photography, and videography. One of my close friends was a food blogger, so we’d spend our days visiting restaurants and creating content for his page. That eventually turned into a marketing agency where we worked with some big brands. In addition to handling the visuals, I spent years doing graphic design, branding, and strategy while running many aspects of the business. Somewhere in between all of that, I earned a computer science degree that I never ended up using, but all of these experiences shaped the skill set I rely on today.
Fast-forward to 2023. I was scrolling Instagram looking at real estate reels and videos, and most of them felt uninspired, unengaging, and boring. That’s when it clicked. There was a gap, and my background in marketing could really help realtors grow their personal brands and market themselves more strategically.
After talking to a few realtors, I kept hearing the same thing. Their video guy would just point a camera at them and say, “Go ahead, talk.” No guidance, no direction, and no strategy. That’s when everything made sense. There was a real opportunity to help with scripting, coaching, and overall direction, and agents appreciate that kind of support from someone with a marketing background. Combine that with how we push the limits of what’s possible with real estate photography and videography, and that’s how we deliver an elevated experience and final product.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I was blessed to have my friend Narmeen encouraging me to step into this business. She helped shape a lot of the philosophy behind how we shoot and present our listings, and I’m grateful for that guidance. I also want to shout out my friend Frank, who connected me with Ram Diaz, a prominent realtor who gave me a chance early on and helped put my name out there. In my first week, he trusted me with a video project, and we knocked it out of the park, and have been working together ever since.
From there, staying consistent with networking, posting on social media, and using a targeted organic marketing strategy helped the business grow quickly. I also host branding and marketing classes for realtors at brokerages across Houston because I want agents to understand how to market themselves well and see real results and lead generation through social media.
Our biggest challenge has definitely been the growing pains that come with rapid demand, but we’re adjusting, evolving, and excited about where we’re headed. 2026 is going to be huge.
As you know, we’re big fans of Sunbird Visuals. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
We’re known for providing premium-quality listing photos, but even more so for the marketing-first approach we bring to real estate videography. Our background in branding and strategy is what truly sets us apart. We don’t just show up with a camera. We help realtors with scripting, ideation, hooks, and overall direction so the final product feels authentic to their voice and aligned with their brand.
Our goal isn’t to chase viral moments. Our focus is to create content that generates leads and positions the realtor as the go-to expert in their market. That same philosophy carries into our photography. We capture every detail, highlight the flow and features of each property, and make sure the photos tell a story that grabs attention.
At the end of the day, we’re proud that our work helps agents stand out, attract the right clients, and grow their business intentionally.
How do you define success?
I see success as a mix of impact and growth. If my work helps realtors elevate their brand, generate leads, and feel more confident on camera, that’s success to me. At the same time, I’m always looking at how I can grow creatively and improve the systems behind the business. As long as I’m helping people win while continuing to level up my team and myself, I feel like I’m on the right track.
