Meet Tanya Crews of Conroe

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tanya Crews.

Hi Tanya, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I learned how to survive before I ever learned how to rest.
I didn’t come up cushioned I came up alert. Watching, adjusting, carrying more than my share because if I didn’t, things would fall apart. Somewhere along the way, being strong stopped being a choice and became an expectation placed on me by everyone except myself.
For over 15 years, I worked in corrections. That wasn’t just a career it was discipline, structure, and responsibility under constant pressure. I operated in environments where mistakes weren’t small and strength wasn’t optional.
In June of 2024, I relocated to Texas, continuing my work in law enforcement while my health quietly demanded more attention. I had lived with scoliosis for years, pushing through pain because that’s what I knew how to do. But eventually, my body made it clear that endurance had limits.
I adapted.
I didn’t leave law enforcement I shifted within it. In March of 2025, I transitioned to a role in a local hospital, allowing me to continue serving while protecting what I had left of my physical well-being.
Still, my scoliosis continued to worsen. Surgery was no longer a possibility to consider it became a necessity.
Then life intervened again.
In August of 2025, I was involved in a car accident.
In September, I underwent surgery.
And despite years of service, consistency, and sacrifice, I was denied benefits classified as ineligible because my condition was deemed pre-existing. There was no paycheck. No safety net. No grace period. Just a system that quietly stepped back when I needed it most.
That moment changed my perspective.
With no income coming in and my body still healing, I didn’t fold I saw clearly. I saw how quickly families can be left exposed. I saw how unforgiving insurance systems can be. I saw how one overlooked detail can turn a health event into a financial crisis.
My passion didn’t fade it sharpened.
I became even more committed to ensuring people and families had the right insurance, the right coverage, and the right understanding before life forced the issue.
Originally founded as Timeless Legacy & Care, my business was rebranded in August of 2025 not for aesthetics, but for truth.
That’s when Crews Financial Solutions was born.
“Crews” reflects family, legacy, and reclaiming my name and authority.
“Financial Solutions” reflects my purpose not selling products, but solving real problems: protection gaps, lack of preparation, and the financial exposure that turns emergencies into devastation.
Crews Financial Solutions was built from lived experience.
From service.
From injury.
From denial.
From clarity.
Today, I move differently.
I speak less, but with intention.
I protect access.
I rest without guilt.
I choose alignment over obligation.
I didn’t harden I clarified.
This isn’t a story about starting over.
It’s about standing fully in who I’ve always been and building something that protects others the way I once needed protection myself.
Crews Financial Solutions isn’t just my business.
It’s my response to a system that fails people quietly.
It’s my answer to uncertainty.
It’s how I turn experience into preparation for others.
And the next chapter?
It’s quieter.
More intentional.
More powerful.
Not because I’m hiding —
but because I finally know exactly who I am, what I survived, and what I’m here to build.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Just with health issues, no clientele due to being new in the area, lack of finances for marketing to the right crowd. Trying to get families to understand what they need before its too late and overall trying to reduce the fear of being scammed in people who have been scammed or just don’t believe in insurance

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
In my everyday life I am a public safety officer, while being the CEO and Founder of Crews Financial Solutions. I provide comprehensive insurance plans, I am a notary, a tax professional and i provide pre paid legal services. I am known for my Health insurance side of things medicare and ACA. Im most proud of my strength and resilience. Not giving up when i felt God had forgotten me. Using what in my eyes bad and turned into my willingness to serve others. what sets me apart is I speak from lived experience.
I’ve served for years in law enforcement. I’ve navigated health challenges, career transitions, denied benefits, and financial uncertainty firsthand. I know exactly what it feels like to do everything “right” and still discover gaps in protection when life hits hard.
Because of that, I don’t sell fear, products, or promises I build real solutions. I educate, prepare, and protect people before crisis forces the conversation. I understand systems from the inside, and I translate them into clear, practical strategies families can actually use.
I lead with integrity, clarity, and accountability.
I protect access, not just assets.
And I operate from a place of purpose, not pressure.
That combination experience, discipline, empathy, and execution is what makes my work different.

We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you?
Luck hasn’t played a role in my life of business lessons and blessings have. What looks like luck from the outside was earned through pressure, setbacks, discipline and moments where I had no choice but to learn fast and adapt. Every Obstacle sharpened my clarity and every setback revealed what needed to change. I don’t rely on chance. I move with purpose faith and the wisdom that comes from lived experience
