Hi Juan Arturo, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I came to the United States at 17 years old with a strong desire to build a better future through hard work. I began learning the trades by working alongside my uncles, where I developed skills in painting, carpentry, and general remodeling. Those early years taught me the importance of craftsmanship, responsibility, and pride in doing things the right way.
Over time, I gained hands-on experience and built strong relationships with homeowners by consistently delivering quality work. After years of working in the field and earning the trust of my clients, I officially founded Bailon’s Remodeling in January 2022.
Today, Bailon’s Remodeling is a family-owned business built on quality, reliability, and personal service. We’ve grown through referrals, repeat customers, and a strong reputation for craftsmanship. What started as a dream has become a company rooted in hard work, integrity, and a commitment to treating every home as if it were our own.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. Starting a business from the ground up in a competitive industry came with a lot of uncertainty. In the beginning, every job mattered — and that mindset has stayed with me ever since. — I had to earn trust one project at a time while managing costs, scheduling, and the pressure of making the business succeed.
One of the biggest challenges was learning the English language while also building a career. Communicating with clients, understanding contracts, and running a business in a second language required a lot of patience and determination. There were long days, late nights, and moments where I had to take risks without knowing what the outcome would be.
But staying focused on quality, consistency, and doing right by every client helped carry us through those early challenges. Those struggles are what shaped the strong foundation Bailon’s Remodeling is built on today.

One book that has had a big impact on me is The Richest Man in Babylon. It taught me the importance of discipline, saving, and making smart financial decisions — lessons that apply just as much to running a business as they do to life. It helped shape how I think about planning, responsibility, and building something that lasts.
I also stay motivated by listening to podcasts and reading about entrepreneurs who started with very little and built successful businesses through persistence and hard work. Those stories remind me to stay focused, keep improving, and never take shortcuts.
Simple tools like calendar and task-management apps also help me stay organized, manage projects, and make sure every client gets the attention they deserve.
