Hidden Gems: Meet Leticia Chaw of APOYO MULTISERVICES

Today we’d like to introduce you to Leticia Chaw.

Hi Leticia, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I arrived in the United States at just four years old, stepping into a world that felt vast and unfamiliar. Learning English, adapting to a newculture, and navigating my way through school shaped me into a determined and resourceful individual. By the time I was six, I had fallen in love with books, sparking a passion for storytelling that led me to become the Editor-in-Chief of my junior high school newspaper and even land my own column in the Alvin Sun. I dreamed of becoming a journalist like Barbara Walters, uncovering truths and sharing impactful stories.

However, life had other plans. My journey took me into real estate and mortgage lending, where I built a successful career as a Realtor, Mortgage Broker, and later, a Title Policy Specialist. In 2002, my husband and I founded Apoyo Mortgage and Real Estate, helping families achieve homeownership. But when the 2008 housing crash hit, we faced an unexpected turning point. The business we had poured our hearts into was no longer sustainable, forcing us to pivot and rebuild.

In 2009, while working at a title company, I discovered the world of mobile notary services. Watching a loan signing agent work reignited something in me—a desire to serve, educate, and empower others. I knew I had the experience, knowledge, and passion to make a difference, so I launched Executive Services and never looked back.

Today, as a Business Coach and Mobile Notary Mentor, I help aspiring entrepreneurs build and scale their businesses with confidence.

Through my Get Skilled to Build Masterclass, I provide step-by-step training, mentorship, and the tools needed for success. My journey—full of resilience, reinvention, and determination—fuels my mission: to guide others toward financial independence and professional growth.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
My biggest challenges have always been to overcome the negative thoughts or lack of support from my closest relatives and friends.
