Today we’d like to introduce you to Krystal Deloney.
Hi Krystal, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My journey into fitness began over eight years ago, but it truly started in 2016 when my life changed completely. I became seriously ill, and doctors wanted to put me on long-term medication. Instead of accepting that as my only option, I made the decision to fight for my health. I dove deep into research, learning everything I could about my body, nutrition, and wellness. That’s when I discovered my blood type was O negative and realized many of the foods I was eating were working against my body. Once I changed my diet, I didn’t just change my body—I changed my life.
That experience lit a fire in me. I knew I wanted to help others take control of their health the same way I did. I began training, became a certified nutritionist, earned my master’s degree in science, and committed myself to learning how the body truly works. Over time, I opened my own gym in New Orleans, helping people transform not just physically, but mentally and emotionally as well.
Today, I’m based in Houston, Texas, where I continue to expand my mission. I offer fully customized workout and meal plans through my online app, along with one-on-one, in-person training. Every program I create is built around the individual—because no two bodies are the same.
My goal is simple: to show people that healing, strength, and confidence are possible when you understand your body and take ownership of your health. If I could change my life, I know I can help others change theirs.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It hasn’t always been a smooth road. Two years ago, I went through a divorce that deeply affected me and led to a period of depression. I lost my footing for a while, and balancing that emotional weight while running a full-time business wasn’t easy. But that season taught me resilience, discipline, and the importance of rebuilding—both mentally and physically.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m a fitness trainer and certified nutritionist specializing in fully customized workout and meal plans for both in-person and online clients. I’m known for taking a personalized, science-based approach—because no two bodies are the same. I use my background in science and real-life experience to help clients achieve sustainable results, not quick fixes.
What I’m most proud of is helping people regain control of their health and confidence. What sets me apart is that I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all programs—I educate, customize, and support my clients every step of the way.
How do you think about luck?
Luck has played a role in my journey, both good and bad, but I believe preparation and perseverance matter more. I’ve faced unexpected challenges—health issues, personal setbacks, and difficult seasons in business—that could be seen as bad luck, but each one forced me to grow, adapt, and become more resilient. On the other side, opportunities came my way because I was willing to put in the work, stay disciplined, and remain open to learning. I see luck as what happens when effort, faith, and consistency meet opportunity.
