Hi Renata, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My journey in healthcare began over 15 years ago when I became a nurse, driven by a deep desire to serve others with compassion and integrity. Over time, I gained experience across a wide range of clinical settings—including hospitals, nursing homes, urgent care, dermatology, correctional healthcare, and aesthetics—which shaped not only my clinical skills but also my understanding of people, resilience, and dignity. Six years ago, I stepped into my role as a Family Nurse Practitioner, trusting that God was guiding each step even when the path felt uncertain.
Four years ago, my family and I took a leap of faith and moved to The Woodlands, leaving behind everything familiar. We arrived without friends or family—only faith, hard work, and hope. Starting over taught me to lean fully into my values, trust, and build genuine connections within the community. Through perseverance and prayer, I was able to open my own practice, Advanced Aesthetics and Wellness—a dream that had lived in my heart for years. Today, I am deeply grateful to serve a community that welcomed us, supported us, and allowed my faith, passion, and purpose to come together in a meaningful way.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Not at all — and that’s been one of the most meaningful parts of the journey.
Starting over in a new state meant rebuilding everything from scratch, both personally and professionally. There were moments of uncertainty, isolation, and self-doubt, especially navigating a new healthcare landscape while balancing family responsibilities and the demands of opening a practice. Transitioning from being part of larger systems to owning and leading my own business came with a steep learning curve—financial risk, long hours, and learning to trust myself in unfamiliar roles.

At the same time, those challenges strengthened my resilience and clarified my purpose. Leaning on my values, staying patient through setbacks, and remaining committed to serving others helped me push forward. Every obstacle became a lesson, and those lessons shaped not only the provider I am today, but also the kind of practice I wanted to build—one rooted in compassion, trust, and genuine care for the community.

Advanced Aesthetics and Wellness is a medically led practice rooted in experience, integrity, and personalized care. With over 15 years in nursing and 6 years as a Family Nurse Practitioner, I created the practice to offer aesthetic and wellness services that prioritize safety, natural results, and whole-person care.
I am known for my attention to detail, honest consultations, and results that enhance—not change—who my patients are. What sets me apart is the depth of clinical expertise behind every treatment and the genuine relationships I build with my patients. Brand-wise, I’m most proud that my growth has come from trust and word of mouth, reflecting a practice grounded in compassion, quality, and community

Can you share something surprising about yourself?
Most people know me as a nurse, Family Nurse Practitioner, or the face of Advanced Aesthetics & Wellness, but what surprises many is how much I thrive on challenges—both professionally and personally. I’ve worked in hospitals, urgent care, nursing homes, dermatology, and correctional facilities, all while building the dream of owning my own practice. On a personal level, I’m a runner, and in just four weeks, I’ll be running my first full marathon here in The Woodlands—something I’ve never done before, though I’ve completed many half marathons and shorter races. It’s a reminder that growth, perseverance, and pushing beyond comfort zones aren’t just for work—they guide everything I do.
