Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I have always been observant of how people decorate their homes, finding the creative ways individuals express themselves both intriguing and inspiring. This passion began early on, from personalizing my school supplies to creatively decorating my bedroom.

After earning a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from Texas Southern University, I was inspired by a close friend pursuing interior design. This realization showed me that I could use my creative skills to help others professionally. I began taking formal interior design classes online to master the basics, and started sharing my work through digital mood boards.

My career truly took off after my first client trusted me with a full bedroom redesign. Since then, I have been dedicated to transforming spaces through thoughtful design.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has not always been a smooth road. I have faced challenges balancing my career with a growing family, and I have learned firsthand that creativity cannot be rushed. I have also learned the importance of charging what my work is worth.

My goal is to bring each client’s vision to life. Creating a space that truly reflects a client’s personality requires time, money, and resources. While there are occasionally hiccups along the way, the end result is always worth the effort.

Designs by L’ren is a Houston-based interior design studio specializing in curating spaces that reflect our clients’ vision, style, and goals, with functionality at the core of every decision. In addition to residential design, we specialize in creating stunning and functional spaces for Airbnb hosts, investors, and property managers in Houston and the surrounding areas.

We take great pride in helping our clients achieve their design goals through professional, vision-based interior design services.

What are your plans for the future?
Designs by L’ren will continue to provide visionary design services to our residential clients while expanding our short-term rental portfolio. Our goal remains to enhance the sense of well-being in every space we design.
